Amanda Seyfried Has A Pleasing Personality

As much as I hate parking tickets and I have definitely received my share of them, I know that I would never throw one at the person writing it. I just could not do that. Amanda Seyfried apparently does not have that same self censor. After her premiere for Little Red Riding Hood, Amanda got in the passenger seat of the car. She then noticed a parking officer placing a ticket on the windshield. Amanda promptly got out of the car threw the ticket at the officer and said, "thank you but no thank you." Oh wow. Talk about some diva behavior. It is not like she is the one who was going to have to pay it. Learning life lessons on attitude from Ryan Phillippe perhaps? Way to make the people of London love you and want to see your movie.

  1. wait. if they were in the car why were they getting a ticket? that would really piss me off too.

  2. That's not diva behavior.

    That's every day person behavior.

If anything, she was downright pleasant. I've seen meter maids & cops get fire practically blown in their faces.

I don't see anything wrong here, Enty.

  3. Yeah...that doesn't make sense. If she were in the car, she shouldn't have gotten a tkt, unless the cop had already started writing the ticket prior to her getting into the car.

Still...don't they know who she is?????

I swear, these celebrities think they're above the law.

I think she was being a DIVA Bitch. It is not the officer's fault, as much as I hate tickets.

  5. I've never thrown a ticket at a metermaid/man or cop--I've had my fair share--but I've gotten out of several by being a half-way decent person to mettermaids/men and cops.

  6. This kind of surprises me about her. She has always seemed like a gracious and generous person?? And seriously, like she can't just pay the ticket??

  7. sometimes when you do something in your head you think it looks cool and edgy.

um Amanda, sorry you just look douchey.

  8. Amen, bluebonnet...

In Central London - and this trend is spreading rapidly out to the suburbs - if a car stops in the wrong place long enough for the warden to start writing the ticket, they are getting it. Where there are 'no waiting' signs (and there are a HELLUVA lot of them), don't wait or pay up. Simple. And there are a lot of wardens around. They generate a lot of revenue for the local councils.

The driver surely knows what the score is (if a chauffered one); she should just get in the car and shut up. Otherwise if a friend is driving, get in the car, shut up!

  9. Sorry! But I have to disagree.

I don't think her behavior was diva like at all. Sh*t I'd be pissed too.

I've been given a parking ticket as I was waiting in a parked, but running as someone ran into the store.

The meter maids here where I live are ridiculously rude as well as ignorant so cut her some slack on this particular situation.

In my city, the tickets are issued electronically (the bylaw officer has a machine that looks like a portable debit/credit card machine like at restaurants). Once they start creating the ticket, you are getting it. It's easier to get out of a ticket from a cop than from a bylaw officer.

I've earned pretty much every parking ticket I've ever received so I've never flipped out but I have seen people do worse. My uncle used to be one and he's been called every awful name you can think of.

  11. I feel so sorry for meter maids. They're just doing their jobs; they don't deserve to get treated like crap for enforcing policies they didn't create!

  12. OMG!!! NO!!! You mean that an unhinged bitch on wheels with a massive entitlement complex acted like she should be worshiped? Well clutch my pearls!! Say it's not true?? What a news flash - film at 11 huh?

This raging twat treats underlings like they were her slaves. YELLS at studio execs who refuse her "price of genius" story while refusing to grant her 5 extra million for some shitty role, and then craps on a meter maid.

Wow. Just, wow. If I wake up tomorrow and hear that this lunatic has showed up outside Paramount's Melrose gate with a head on a pike, dressed like Harry Potter while demanding no more wire hangers...EVER!???
I will just nod, and roll back over to sleep.

She defintely puts the bats in batshit.

  13. Actually, Himmmm, I forgot about that! She was the top suspect for Ted's "Polly Luscious Locks" about someone demanding way more $ than they deserved.

  14. You know it's a good story but the pictures just show a pensive looking person holding something. Could this possibly be blown out of proportion?

  15. She's not even that pretty. My father thinks she's wierd looking with bulgy eyes. Her hair is gorgeous though. Probably the best in Hollywood.

  16. I'd be pissed, too! I hate meter readers, or anyone who makes a living smugly enforcing bullshit rules on other people. I know that rules are rules for a reason, but if she was IN HER CAR and about to leave, I see no reason to slap her with a ticket. That's SUCH a dick move.

There are far worse examples of celebrity entitlement. Personally,
most of my indignation is focused on Lohan, Hilton, and all the other assholes who drive drunk as hell and get away with it.

  17. Yes Loserdude - it could be blown out of everything. But I was there in the admin building at Paramount that morning when she hit the crazy button - yelling full volume - and actually throwing a script at the door. Then - as if on cue, she does her best Gloria Swanson or Faye in Mommie Dearest as she turns to the poor shellshocked assistants at their desks yelling "What the FUCK are you idiots gawking AT??!".
If she'd had that much drama on screen? She'd get her desired paycheck. Instead? She's too whacked out to do it on screen.
    Thus, nothing surprises me.

  18. LOVE Himmmm's comments - is it bad that I go to check the comments and find myself scanning for your name?

I think the Guppy's crazy too, nice to hear firsthand evidence.

  19. Leave Lily Kane alone!

  20. Why on earth did she even bother? It isn't her car and probably a rental, so the rental company will pay the ticket. It was total Diva behaviour. And I am sorry, she may be in just about every freaking movie that comes out, she isn't entitled to act like that.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Leah I scan for Himmm's comments too... if it's bad I don't want to know lol!

Rental companies will still charge you for the ticket.

  27. ohh Sue Ellen!!
You made my whole week ;-).
I had forgotten about that (like 2 years ago or something? lol). You're too funny, and obviously not senile with that memory! Great to hear form ya again. Meanwhile? I'll still sit on the park bench with you ;-) By the way? What was that first boy's name? Was it Klaus or Rolf, or Harpo? I forget.

to Leah and MizCaramel and elspeth:

Thanks a boatload for your funny, sweet comments. I'll try to keep up with the pace! I love all of your comments too. Don't stop writing your opinions or feelings - I love it!

  28. it was Ryan I believe for Sue Ellen... yes I went back in time to check all of Himmm's posts... *hangs head in shame* But I don't want a cure!!

  29. MizCaramel -- I'll trade you a ham sandwich [or a (your choice - to be announced at a future date)] if you made a copy of Hizzzz comments!

Maybe if we're this public about the stalking we're really not toooo sick or dangerous [oh, yeah, right, this IS an anonymous blog]. Yikes! But then that's why my shrink is on my speed dial list ;-)

  30. If loving Himmm is wrong...I don't wanna be right! :-)

  31. I don't know if my memory is THAT great because I had no idea who you were talking about until MizCaramel said Ryan. Ohhhhh, that guy. I have better stories than that guy.

Anyhow, I hope you are not all smoke and mirrors too, Himmm.

    (*crosses fingers*)
