Love Ben Mckenzie! Everyone-watch Southland on TNT. It is a great show and Ben is great in it. The season just ended, but there should be reruns. I hope they renew it for another season!

Scott Brown is up (in MA) in 2012, but that may be too soon. Maybe Ben will wait for Kerry to retire, but I doubt it. He's serious about politics.
A bad economy (not getting $$$ to make the films he wants) may hasten his entry into politics.

I love the show Southland too! It seems so real (as real as TV shows can be) compared to the CSI's and Law and Order's. They have a really great cast including Regina King.

ReplyDeleteI never really felt anything one way or another for Abbie Cornish until I watched Bright Star a couple of weeks ago...she blew me away. She was brilliant, truly. Her performance in that movie didn't get nearly enough acclaim. And as a person with a degree in English Lit, I appreciated how little the movie deviated from fact in regard to Keats and Brawne's relationship. <3 I haven't seen anything else that Cornish has been in, but here's hoping that she doesn't choose rubbish for roles in the future.
