Everything is always sunshine and roses before the big wedding day. It is after the vows that the real challenge begins. Obviously people usually date for awhile and many of the realities are already known, but in some cases where the goal seems to be getting married as quickly as possible, what is real and what is not real, might not be thought about as much as it should have been. Barely two weeks after the couple got married, Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh are fighting. Kelsey wants to move back to LA to be near his kids and to work on a new project for Starz. Kayte would rather stay in New York and have a continent separating her from Camille. That is probably a wise choice, but she must have known that LA was coming. Kelsey is a television guy and television is primarily done in Los Angeles. The couple have supposedly been fighting about it, but that the 66 year old Kelsey will win and his 29 year old wife will follow. Well, with no prenup, maybe she should just say no and cash in now.
Kayte looks like a male actor whose name escapes me right now....driving me crazy!

on RHOB, Camille had previously said that Kelsey thought his career in LA was finished and that he felt loved and welcomed in New York. Of course, this is (probably) before she knew about Kayte. And yeah, agree with those who think Kelsey is a fool for not doing a pre-nup AND why the heck didn't they talk about this before getting married???

ReplyDeleteWho knows what really went on in Kelsey & Camille's marriage & why K felt the need to find a new woman before officially moving on...maybe he's addicted to new relationships.
Kelsey definitely has some serious issues, and I don't think this marriage will last a year. Their initial body language seemed like they were in love, but every picture I've seen since they got engaged has not been good. Kayte is going through the motions, the love is not there but the money is. She got pregnant pretty fast in the beginning, lost the baby...I have a feeling that if she isn't pregnant again soon it won't be worth it for her anymore and she'll take her half & go. Plus with the marriage she gets to stay in the U.S., which I believe was also a big motivation on her part.

ReplyDeleteShe absolutely knew he would want to move back to L.A. Even I knew he was moving back. He was on Regis & Kelly discussing the new tv show he is working on, he's not going to do that in NY. He finished his little play, had his big wedding, and now off to L.A. to buy an even more ostentation home than the previous Malibu one.

ReplyDeleteThe Enquirer (Mar 7) said that Kelsey is trying to get his new wife on RH-NY. Kayte probably wants to stay in NY so she can be on a reality show like Camille.
I was coming on to say the same thing as Mac Vixen about how he was supposedly done with LA. Maybe he missed his children too much and figured a new show would be a good excuse.
