Chris Brown Apologizes - Will Have #1 Album
Apparently the world does not care about Chris Brown being in a competition with Michael Lohan for worst celebrity for a woman to be seen with. Charlie Sheen was disqualified for the competition because he failed his urine test, although he kept insisting it was because he has warlock pee and that cannot be measured. Anyway, Chris apologized for his outburst on Good Morning America, ABC gave him a slap on the wrist and then got on their knees and thanked him for still wanting to appear on DWTS. Then, for good measure, ABC told all the people on DWTS they cannot say anything about the incident to the press and have to pretend that Chris is the most wonderful person in the world. And to top it all off, Chris is going to have the number one album in America this week and the second biggest seller of the year. Way to show those record labels you care about what their artists do.
I won't but this piece of shit's "ALbum", and I emailed ABC to tell them they was WRONG to not punish him or press charges.
ReplyDeletewow. Just wow.
ReplyDeletei just, i have no words. people just dont give a fuck about anything until it happens to them. they get pissed off when the server forgets their extra dressing or if someone takes too long to put their groceries in the bag but god forbid that people actually cared about something that mattered. like young women fawning and loving this douchebag. i am allll for second chances but he blew it.
ReplyDeletei want to go back to bed.
Enuff of Chris ... his 15 mins is up.
ReplyDeleteNext ...
Why do they want to hire this a*hole? He clearly hasn't changed one bit, ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome balla said. And it's not like labels have ever cared what their artists do, so long as they sell.
ReplyDeleteHis apology was a JOKE. If that's how he "lets off steam", there's no question this asshole should be locked behind bars.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me so so so sad. What the h'''' is wrong with people? Does noone have a back bone in that industry?
ReplyDeletein this day and age....doesn't surprise me at all. ever since the reality show craze hit.....nothing is sacred.anything for a buck.........oh, and, hey, we may all express our dismay and anger that he beat the living shit out of a woman, but that only lasts as long as something new and lewd comes along......this guy should be boycotted and/or ignored....remember, don't feed the trolls!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Chris Brown has some really juicy information on someone high up at his label and/ or management company. If they drop him, or stop defending his violent and abusive behaviour, he'll spill. And it will bring someone big down.
ReplyDeleteWe still have disgusting double standards. Males can act like Charlie Sheen, Chris Brown, Mel Gibson etc. and they are defended to the hilt. If a female acted this way, she would be crucified and sadly it would be women doing most of the crucifying. Yet here we have women fawning all over Chris Brown and justifying his behaviour. Women's Lib is really a joke in this day and age.
ReplyDeleteHe'll never change because he will never take responsibility for his actions. I don't doubt that his people looked at the questions Robin Roberts had and he still went nuts. He thinks because he didn't hurt anyone an appropriate way to let out steam is to break windows and that isn't. Get some fucking help!
ReplyDeleteI really hope his album drops fast and if anyone has the balls to give him the cold shoulder I applaud you.
ReplyDeletewhy is he even on here? waste of space...
ReplyDeleteMaja with a J -- maybe he knows MV, lol
ReplyDeleteI was reading his twitter feed last night...I was surprised at how many females were tweeting him things like "F the haters" and other such things.
ReplyDelete@mch: that is the worst part! these girls, his only fans really because come on teen boys arent rocking out to chris brown, are defending his behavior saying that surely rihanna had to have done something to DESERVE it and that no one saw what he looked like.
ReplyDeletehow are women, as a whole, ever going to be thought of as equals when they are defending a man who beats a woman when they aren't even out of middle school?? it's frightening.
ITA @awesome balla.
ReplyDeleteCindy, I was going to suggest that but didn't want it to sound like I thought enty was defending CB...*L*
ReplyDeleteThe girls (I refuse to call them women)that fawn on men like this a--hole think " He would never hit me." They have the mentality that he would change with them.
ReplyDeleteSadly we have found nothing changes where men like these idiots are concerned.
So do you think the spokespeople behind ABC know they are puppets, or do you think they're just happy to be collecting a paycheck regardless? I'm so tired of the powers that be always placating these kinds of idiots.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why his shit sells in the first place. Granted, I'm outside his target demographic because autotuned pop r&b is not my thing, but still, I don't see anything special about his music. It's not extraordinarily catchy or well done. It's just average, ordinary--sounds like it could be anyone. So why all the fawning, ass kissing, and high sales? It makes no sense to me. I think Maja is onto something--he's got something over someone high up. Has to.
ReplyDeleteNice blog post calling out Good Morning America out on their shit, for anyone who cares: http://videogum.com/289192/an-open-letter-to-good-morning-america-concerning-the-chris-brown-situation/top-stories/
ReplyDeleteChris Brown is the absolute worst. Such an undeserving little piece of shit. Makes me sick that networks are coddling him and adoring fans are out buying his uninspiring autotuned crap.
And yet, Adam Lambert's kiss was unforgivable. A convicted felon was allowed on Good Morning America, but a man who acted overly sexy in a stage performance was not.
ReplyDeleteWhen did Charlie fail a urine test & how did I miss that?
ReplyDeleteand yes, Chris is a POS. So is Charlie, just curious.
ReplyDeleteThere's still somebody out there that's interested in this turdball?
