Blind Item #1
This former C list actor who had one big part in a movie and has tried to keep his fame going without much success has his head so far up his own butt it is unbelievable. This actor, wears a t-shirt from his movie so people knows who he is. Second, he has an assistant. Why? "I'm famous. I can't go out. People will mob me." Then why do you have to wear the damn t-shirt so people even know who you are.

ReplyDeleteWe need more clues! :)
ReplyDeleteAlex Pettyfer
ReplyDeleteRupert Everett
ReplyDeleteHow about Mark Hamill?
ReplyDeleteBite your tongue, RQ! He's a good guy, and he sure doesn't need a t-shirt.
ReplyDeleteBrandon Routh?
ReplyDeleteRq, that totally was my guess too!
ReplyDeleteHayden christensen
Great minds, valerie :)
ReplyDeleteMooshki - :P
Hamil has an extensive list on IMDB.
ReplyDeleteHow about Patrick Fugit?
@.robert - I didn't take the wording of the blind to mean the person had only been in one movie, just that he'd only had one big part in a movie. But I could totally be wrong.
ReplyDeleteMark Hamill does video game voices, and he is a HUGE hit at conventions.
ReplyDeleteBrandon Routh is a great guess, although I really liked him on Chuck.
the bad guy in TITANIC?
ReplyDeleteJohn Connor's dad in the first TERMINATOR?
lol Mooshki. I'm more convinced than ever it's Mark Hamill.
ReplyDeleteMore proof: Enty would've said "one big part in a franchise. Mark starred in more than one movie. ;)
ReplyDeleteLol ok ok....Hamill is safe.
ReplyDeleteChristopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin from Superbad)?
ReplyDeleteSeth Green
ReplyDeleteThis is the Napoleon Dynamite guy maybe?
ReplyDeleteMcLovin
ReplyDeletePedro or Jon Heder from Napolen Dynamite?
ReplyDeleteGlad you came to your senses. ;)
ReplyDeleteJon Heder is a Mormon, so the juicy part would be that he seeks celebrity. Besides, Heder has an identical twin, so he gets a pass for hinting he's the famous one.
ReplyDeleteI've heard the guy who played Pedro has been known to wear that shirt. But C list for him seems like a stretch...
ReplyDeleteJason Biggs
ReplyDeletemark metcalf- niedermeyer in animal house ftw.

ReplyDeleteActually, Mark Metcalf runs a restaurant in the Milwaukee suburbs. Strange place for Niedermeyer to be, I know, but he's supposedly super down-to-earth and greets all the "little people" at his restaurant, talks with fans, etc. People in the Milwaukee area know who he is so he doesn't need a t-shirt to tell anyone LOL. It's hard to be up your own butt in Wisconsin, first of all, secondly, you can't be too uppity when you're bussing tables, KWIM?
ReplyDeleteI like the Jason Biggs guess or even the dude who played "Stifler".
Cuba Gooding Jr
ReplyDeleteI know Mark Hamill; I'm friends with his sister. Nice, nice guy. Would NEVER behave like that.
ReplyDeleteIs anyone else having trouble getting the site to fully open up?
ReplyDelete@ Moosh --Mark also does cartoon voice work. For YEARS MH has been the cartoon voice of the Joker in the Batman cartoons.
ReplyDeleteYes that does let my inner comicbook geek fly.
selenakyle: yes, I get a white screen lately that will often go to black if I refresh a couple times. Annoying.
ReplyDeleteChris Klein?
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna guess Frank Whaley.
ReplyDeleteHayden Christensen
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that Mark Hamill does the Luke Skywalker voice on Robot Chicken. Shows he has a sense of humour.
ReplyDeleteEver come up with a great guess to a blind when it's too late? I have a feeling I'll be doing that this weekend.
I like both the Hayden and Chris Klein guesses. Thing is, Hayden was in a franchise too and I can't picture Chris Klein walking around in a t-shirt (and his face is pretty memorable).
I'm trying to think of a not-recent big movie first.
This screams Ryan Phillipe for me.
ReplyDeleteCorey Feldman
ReplyDeleteMooshki is right. We need more clues.
ReplyDeleteMooshki - I got your back. Rocket Queen needs to be whipped with a wet noodle for even THINKING Mark Hamill would do such a thing.
ReplyDeleteSheesh.
I'm having site issues too. Does anyone else have the tacky IQ TEST at the top of the screen? Site is white and I can't scroll down - I'm using Firefox.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely recommend firefox with something called "NoScript" as an add-on. It's totally free, and I NEVER see any banner adds, pop-ups or noisy ads. It blocks all scripts on a site until you click what's allowed (like YouTube).
ReplyDeleteAlso if you visit a site that's 'busy' & super slow to load, with NoScript, all the crap isn't running at all, so pages load much faster too. I forget all the time that y'all even deal with that.
Reese, if you read this, make sure Mark Hamill gets a hug from me. Every time I see him on anything, he seems so sweet that I just want to hug him. Seriously. And the Robot Chicken stuff is funny too.
Funny how half those "American Pie" franchise guys act like such 'superstars', and Mark freakin' Hamill is the most humble guy on Earth.
Sorry, ramblin @ 420.
I was just going to comment about the as banner at the top making everything appear wonky... glad it is not just me

ReplyDeleteFormer C list actor eh? OK, Efren Ramirez (Pedro from "Napoleon Dynamite")sounds like the bandwagon to jump on.
ReplyDeletePossible help for those having trouble with the site: I log on and then I hit refresh. It magically appears.
ReplyDeleteI'm jumping on the Efren Ramirez band wagon with everyone else.
ReplyDeleteSean William Scott maybe? It got me thinking when I saw he went into rehab, and isn't he best known for the American Pie movies?
