Go Packers! Love Rodgers and Greg Jennigs is from my hometown, so super excited to see him play in the SuperBowl. Can't wait to watch the game. Really excited to see. Hope it's better than the last couple have been.
Go Stillers!!! Both my parents are from Pittsburgh so I was born a Steelers fan. That said, I was born in NY and always root for the Jets (when they aren't playing the Steelers - man, that game was like the ending of Chinatown for me). The trouble is, 2/3 of my friends are from Wisconsin, so watching football over the years with them, I have grown very fond of the Packers. Too bad - I am going for the Steelers all the way!!! Can't stand Big Ben, but I loves me some Polamalu!!!
Not a sports fan, however my brother is staying with me and he will be watching, so I will be asking annoying questions, reading my Kindle, watching the commercials and making uber-fattening things to eat.
Nope. I'm all hockey and my bf is going elsewhere to watch the game since he and his friends made a MESS of our place a couple of weekends ago watching the semi-finals.
Steelers, but not watching it this year, we'll be driving our daughter back to her college that night, and since it's a 7 hour drive total,we won't be back in time.
Here we go, Steelers, here we go! Pittsburgh's going to the Superbowl!
Roethlisberger's an ass, but I can't abandon my beloved Stillers. Especially because I grew up in the Twin Cities and am culturally conditioned to root against the Packers.
I'm not a fan of either team, but I say Packers win it in the 4th quarter, 23-17. This will probably beat last year's Super Bowl as the most watched ever. I'm just glad to not see Tom Brady in 3 consecutive Super Bowls. My Jets are still licking their wounds though.
I normally go to a party or at least watch on TV but b/c I have done such a piss poor job of time management (thanks to things like CDAN! :), I will be working on a project!
Steelers. And heck yeah, I'm watching it. Boyfriend and I always have a Superbowl party and make bets on the game.
ReplyDeleteWatching the commercials. Could care less about the game. Now last year, you couldn't tear me away. Geaux Saints.
ReplyDeletePackers, and hell yeah I'm watching.
ReplyDeleteDon't have a pick; just happy to see the Cowboys won't be playing in their beautiful new stadium. XOXO, Giants fan forever.
ReplyDeleteSteelers, though I gotta say I'm a huge NFL fan and really couldn't give a shit who wins.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Pennsylvania girl but I'm going with the Packers. My mom was a life long Packer fan and I'd like to think they're winning this for her.
ReplyDelete(She passed away just over four months ago)
My number one pick is Jessie, but Lindy is a close second. Wait, we're talking about the Puppy Bowl, right?
ReplyDelete@JJ
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your loss. Sincerely.
My mom is a cheesehead too, and this will probably make me(secretly) go for them as well.
I'll be watching but am another person who doesn't care about the game. I'll have it on to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean and Rango trailers.
ReplyDeleteha! I guess I'll be a Packer Backer. I don't really watch NFL, I am more of a college ball girl. For one day, I'll be for Green Bay.

ReplyDeleteIf by "the game" you mean "going to Champagne Brunch", then yes!
ReplyDeleteBeing a lifelong Vikings fan I'm going to have to root for whoever is playing against the Packers. Go Steelers!
ReplyDeleteWhat Sunnyside said.
ReplyDeleteI hope the Packers win, but only because I don't like Roethlisberger. Doesn't really matter though. I'll forget by Tuesday.
Notwatching. I didn't even know it was Superbowl weekend until I watched TV all day on Wednesday because of a snow day from work!
ReplyDeleteYeah, uh huh, you know what it is
ReplyDeleteBLACK AND YELLOW, BLACK AND YELLOW, BLACK AND YELLOW, BLACK AND YELLOW!!!
Pittsburgh all the way. I was in Tampa to watch the last one. This time will be from home.
ReplyDeleteI predict this will be the most viewed SB in history. Two of the oldest franchises with generational fan bases.
I'm also betting a defensive player takes MVP.

ReplyDeleteF*%# the Steelers. Go Packers! I'm a Ravens fan. I have much hatred for the Squealers!
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely watch the game but I'm more excited for Glee.
Nope. I'm all hockey and my bf is going elsewhere to watch the game since he and his friends made a MESS of our place a couple of weekends ago watching the semi-finals.
ReplyDelete@JJ - Sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteHUGE Packer fan here. Can hardly stand to watch it as I think it will be tight.
@ali - As a true sports fan, you should root for the NFC.
Steelers, but not watching it this year, we'll be driving our daughter back to her college that night, and since it's a 7 hour drive total,we won't be back in time.
ReplyDeleteAs a lifelong Vikings fan, I HATE the Packers, so this year I'm a Steelers fan even though Roethlisberger's an ass (and likely a criminal).
ReplyDeletePackers! Can`t root for a QB rapist.
ReplyDeleteGO PACK GO!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI grew up about 45 mins from Green Bay so I bleed green & gold.
Oh, and Clay Matthews is my imaginary boyfriend (see my photo).
Nope. Not a fan of football.
ReplyDeleteBring on March Madness!!!
I don't care who wins, although Missy's point makes me think that I'll be rooting for Green Bay.
ReplyDeleteI mainly watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. During halftime I'll switch to the Puppy Bowl.

Undecided if I'm watching given the time difference but if I do, I'm leaning towards the Packers but still undecided, given I'm a Dolphins girl.
ReplyDeleteI do not like football, so I will not be watching. I hope the Steelers win, though, because Hines Ward went to my high school.
ReplyDeleteCan't stand the Steelers so I am skipping the game. I don't need to be aggravated.
ReplyDeleteI'm watching it. I'm not a Steelers or Green Bay fan per se, but excited to watch the game. And I'm going with Green Bay for the win.
ReplyDeleteMy money is on CB in the Puppy Bowl.
ReplyDeleteBeyond that, I agree with Hannah - ready for March Madness!!
Yay--the Puppy Bowl...and the Kitty Halftime Extravaganza.
ReplyDeleteHeck yes PUPPY BOWL!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of either team, but I say Packers win it in the 4th quarter, 23-17. This will probably beat last year's Super Bowl as the most watched ever. I'm just glad to not see Tom Brady in 3 consecutive Super Bowls. My Jets are still licking their wounds though.
ReplyDeleteCAn't stand Big Ben. Will be working it for the Packers!
ReplyDeletetrue dat! Puppy Bowl is the best! I love the rabbit cheerleaders!
ReplyDeleteI normally go to a party or at least watch on TV but b/c I have done such a piss poor job of time management (thanks to things like CDAN! :), I will be working on a project!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to your favorite teams, people!
Ummm...Packers? Only because I can't remember the other team that made it...lol...
ReplyDeleteI'm going to a Super Bowl party. I may see a flash of the game here and there by accident.
There's a game this Sunday?
ReplyDeleteSteelers. I really don't care but my brother-in-law is a die hard Steelers fan & I'm going to support him at his Superbowl party. I think. ;)
