Peggy Trentini Tells All
You probably have no idea who Peggy Trentini is. I did not that is for sure. Apparently though she was in Up The Creek and that really is good enough for me. That movie is so underrated and is one of the classic movies of all time. I remember my dad had it on videotape and one day I put that thing in the machine. Note to all of you of a certain age. Prior to Tivo or DVR's there was this little thing called a VCR. It played movies in much the same way an audio cassette played music. Oh that's right, those don't exist any longer. I guess a discussion on an 8 Track would be out of the question, but those things were the bomb back in the day.
Anyway, Peggy certainly made the rounds of Hollywood and dated Kevin Costner, Johnny Depp, Sylvester Stallone and Billy Idol. In her book she talks about the best kisser who was Billy Idol. She says Johnny Depp was the most romantic and that Kevin Costner was a womanizer. He was the kind of guy who would invite nothing but women to parties so he could find the hottest ones to hook up with.
she was also in Tales from the Crypt: Demon Night...loves me some TFC!
ReplyDeleteIt's like Revenge of the Whores in Hollywood.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ timebob.
ReplyDeleteWhen Kevin was single, he was at a local celebrity golf tournament and while he was golfing, he would assign numbers to good looking groupies who followed him along the course while he played. Afterward, he holed up in his resort room and told the person assigned to him to bring the numbered women to his room. I condemn the women for this type of behavior more than the man. What man wouldn't want to do this if he could? But what woman would demean herself so much to know that she was "No. 8" in a long line of women who "serviced" a man like that? YUCK!!!!! Never saw any resulting paternity suits (and it appears he's still very fertile) so at least it looks like they used protection!
ReplyDeleteI'd read the book if she seriously spilled details. But I mostly fear it's a bunch of "he was really gentle and funny" descriptions, and it will be a waste of time.
ReplyDelete"dated" them? wrong verb
ReplyDeleteWell said, timebomb. I guess she couldn't snatch a rich man and is low on cash.
ReplyDeleteHow old was Johnny Depp when they went out?
ReplyDeletedelilah - is that the one with the demented Santa?? That one creeped me out!!! aahhhhhh!
ReplyDeleteJohnny Depp, what were you thinking?
ReplyDeleteJohnny Depp, what were you thinking?
ReplyDeleteJamie's Girl, I'm not sure of the timing, but it was probably during his post-Winona phase, so he wasn't thinking clearly.
ReplyDeleteyay up the creek. i loved that movie. my dad would put that on the vcr as well. lol
ReplyDeletei kind of want to watch that now.
@nunaurbiz - That is so gross. Sounds very Tiger like.
ReplyDeleteI moved around a lot as a kid & I remember long trips & having to listen to my mom's old 8 tracks over & over & over again. An iPod would have been a dream back then.
@nunaurbiz - I used to go go dance ( loooooong ago! ) at a club when Scottie Pippen used to play ball. A bunch of us dancers were sitting at a table taking a break when some guy comes up to us saying " excuse me ladies, but Scottie Pippen would like for you to join him in his hotel room later tonight " We all laughed except one dumb girl who said " Should we go? " Ha! " No sweetie..we don't jump to the beck and call of guys like that. Any guy!" Wow..and you know its true because c'mon? Scottie Pippen.. really? ew!
ReplyDeleteI will say that back in the day (think the "Bull Durham" and "No Way Out" years) Costner was hot, hot, hot. His behavior has been (and probably still is) disgusting, but I can definitely believe that women let him behave like that.
ReplyDeletePoor Dana Strum... It must be humiliating to know his wife slept around with so many men!!! And now she shamelessly writes a book to brag about it???
ReplyDeleteNo wonder he is sooooo bitter.
