Lindsay Says She Borrowed The Necklace

There is video of Lindsay Lohan walking out of the store with the necklace she is accused of stealing. The problem is there is no sound in the video so it is unclear whether she was in fact loaned the necklace as she claims or was making off with a ten finger discount. She also says the jeweler knows where she lives and how to contact her but never did. Hmmm. The thing is Lindsay has been known to take anything that is not nailed down and if she was not Lindsay Lohan she would have already been arrested several times. There have been furs and jewels and more jewels and people's things from their apartments and it is always a misunderstanding. Always. It is never Lindsay's fault. Of course there has never been a full on investigation about any of the other things she has been accused of stealing. Once the accusations become public, then all of a sudden the items are quietly returned. Often the worse for wear but returned.

  1. That's why I found it so ironic that the robbery ring they busted a while ago was best known for robbing her! I figured it was a dose of her own medicine.

  2. Drugs, alchohol, theft and trampy behavior......I am going to take a shot here and say that some intense therapy might be in order.

  3. In a case of anyone vs. Lohan, I believe anyone.

Because seriously, the jewelry store totally reported the theft despite knowing they had "lent" it to Lohan? Bitch please.

  4. Right on RQ. Jewelry store is at fault, too, for allowing a known thief to try on jewelry.

  5. I know what the real deal is... all the episodes with theft, drugs, etc aren't her fault.
    It's her evil twin!
(And I want a percentage if she tries this defense)

  6. "I Know Who Stole That Necklace" is going to be the worst sequel ever.

  7. nothing will happen to her THIS time either. now they're blaming the store for not reporting it the same day, even though they tried to reach her by phone and couldn't. THEN, they're saying all they had to do was walk down the street and knock on her door.

how is this the store's problem?? either they loaned it to her or they didn't. if they say they didn't, then why would anyone buy HER story when she's done this shit for years?

  8. lol lawnjart! I just busted a gut at your comment. Fuck that was a terrible movie. A terrible, terrible movie.

  9. Some people refuse to believe the truth about others. Until she steals something huge, she'll continue to get away with this.

  10. @lawnjart - darn, I was thinking it was a sequel to Parent Trap....see what seperating a girl and her twin will do?

  11. Ok honey, that's stealing. What do these people think?? "I borrowed it", there's no such thing as borrowing it without the owner's knowledge and approval.

  12. Maybe she wasn't getting enough attention....a little theft always does the trick...

  13. I once saw a photo of LiLo in a room at her house as big as a 2 car garage with boxes and boxes and boxes of shoes, and racks upon racks of designer clothing, all jumbled up. I think she's a greedy, covetous thief and a hoarder to boot.

  14. "crickets crickets" That is all I hear when Trick or her "publicity team aka Dino" open their mouth. Can't the places have a sign that reads "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" in their establishment and they can tell her to get the f out? Or hows about " No shoes, no shirts, no lohans no service".

  15. I think she meant to say they "lohaned" the necklace to her.

  16. Lindsay is quickly losing the "juice" that lets her get away with these things. Each incident puts here closer to paying the price. Especially if the victim would rather see LL pay than get paid themselves.

  17. my favorite Lindsay theft is when she went to a club in a plain leather jacket and walked out with a models $40,000 fur coat. Then returned it a month later completely damaged saying she thought the coat was "hers". How she didn't get arrested for that was beyond me.

  18. Again...who the HELL would even ALLOW this flibbertygibbett INSIDE their jewelry store? Have these people never read the news? Sheesh.

  19. Bingo, Stephen! Girls' knees will be SHOT before long, cuz she & Dina ain't got enough money to pay off EVERYONE.

  20. Why would any jewelry store loan her anything? Bad enough they loan big stars ( and she ain't one) big jewels for red carpet events but she can't even claim that.

No, thats a very ordinary necklace there that NO one would need to be loaned.
Lilo lies and lies and lies. She is as successful as a Thief and a Liar as her film career is these days.

  21. this girl is an obvious thief. look at her past!

the amount of shit she gets away with is mind-boggling.

  22. I'm thinking when jewelers really do loan jewels to stars, they get something in writing. If they don't, they're idiots. Was she walking out of the store with a bag? Even when you buy something and want to wear it, you usually get, oh, a receipt and a bag with the necklace's box.

  23. Here is what I think happend. She went to the store had the sales person fetch her a thousand diffrent things to try on. The sales person lost track of what she did and did not have on. Plus she might of been a little star struck so she lost focus a bit.

Lindsay buys nothing saunders out knowing she has the necklace on. Store does a daily inventory notices the necklace missing checks the tapes and bingo! Lindsay has yet again committed a crime she will never pay for.

  24. Damn. See, when I think about her "stealing" I'm always assuming its something where some idiot jewelry/designer/etc. "loaned" her something & she never returned it but I forget she has actually stolen legitimately from random people.

Why does anyone even care about turning her in at this point? How does she keep getting away with it? Do people really like her THAT much??

  26. What really happened to her as a child? She is like Sheen to some degree, not held responsible for her actions. Again, no punishment for her actions. How does she pay 7k a month for rent alone?

  27. The D.A. won't file charges. LiLo is one of these people that keep doing things that none of us would be able to get away with, and nothing ever happens to her. I'm sure in a few months there will be another incident where someone "loans" her something and it doesn't get "returned" on time.

  28. I'm sure Lindsay has the same attitude about her activities Winona Ryder has about her binge at Saks Fifth Avenue: she "didn't hurt anyone" and therefore feels no remorse about her crime. I wish retailers would summon enough backbone to ban Lindsay and Winona (throw her in for good measure) from entering their establishments. Why allow known thieves to come in and possibly pilfer? Their mere presence is toxic enough to merit exclusion from the premises.

  29. @ Kate - "a dose of her own medicine"??

Oh, Kate, Kate - don't you know? Our sweet Lindsay has never stolen ANYTHING a DAY in her LIFE!!! How daaaare you make such a comment! The jeweler should be grateful that Lindsay used herself as an advertising tool so people could see how beautiful the necklace was. Then they'd all run to the jewelers and he'd be sold out in minutes!! If anything, Lindsay should be given a commission!!

    Psheesh - you people!

  30. What Selena says ! - if I owned a jewelry or any other kind of store, I wouldn't let the bi*ch in the door.

  31. This girl has never ever learned any sense of personal responsibility. For years she was probably given free stuff all the time from designers and stores hoping for publicity. Even though she is now past her sell by date, she thinks she is still entitled to all these freebies she grew up getting. Didn't matter what this store says, all she heard was that she could walk out with it.
