Jon & Kate?

Just when Jon Gosselin is getting his life on track and working a real job and has got some normality back into his life comes the rumor mill. The rumor mill according to PopEater is that Jon & Kate are considering getting back together. Huh? That would be the worst idea ever. Sure, TLC would pass out from orgasming so much, but the rest of the world and the kids could probably do without it. At this point, the kids have enough money to put them through college and probably some extra for after. If Kate wants to keep trying to be on television, then that is her choice. Also, doesn't Jon still have that girlfriend of his. How would all that work with him getting back together with Kate?

  1. I love how this shitshow is on a network called ~The Learning Channel.~

  2. OMG - Jon. ruuuuuuunnnnnn! that television show pretty much seems to have ruined their marriage and lives to a certain extent. Jon certainly revealed himself to be a bit of a d-bag, BUT I still hold him in higher esteem that KrazyKate and will think he is out of his damn mind if they do end up reconciling...

  3. @amoteafloat: Yeah, about the only thing taught on "The Learning Channel" seems to be how to live your life to excess and ruination :-/

  4. Once a fame whore, always a fame whore.
Please, Almighty Deity, let this just be spin from her publicist to keep her name in the tabloids.

  5. There is absolutely no way this can be anything but a ploy for the two of them to recapture the money and TV/tabloid presence these two had, lost, and have come to miss dearly. It has nothing to do with the kids' needs, and there is no love or affection between them. The "reconciliation" will evaporate the second all negotiations to get a TV show fail.

  6. Amoteafloat, clearly we're on the same wavelength today!

  8. @Lauren -- :-)

P.S. I cannot believe that those two are famous. These vanilla-as-hell, completely mediocre in every single way, talentless, unattractive twits have achieved notoriety for overbreeding and exploiting their children, basically. Lovely.

Sorry. I don't hate the Kardashians as much as everyone else here, and I think it's partly because I measure them up against the effing Gosselins. They are such a lazy, entitled, unjustly wealthy pair, and it drives me cuh-RAZY that we're still talking about them! *whines and bangs head against desk*

I mean, I will never watch that show, but I've seen pictures of this family. Of course. I've seen, like 345345 more than I wanted to see. Anyway, body language says a lot, and I think those kids are scared of their mother and bored by their father.

  9. There's too much toxic water under their personal bridge for them to reconcile. It's obviously for another handout.

I was at Books-a-Million the other day and there was about a dozen copies of one of Kate's books in the dollar bin.

Haha, I just went to Amazon to look up the title (it was that forgettable: "8 Little Faces") and there's actually a book out about the Gosselins titled:

The Secret World of Jon and Kate: The Stupidest Story in the History of the Universe and the People Who Covered It

  10. Yeah, I don't buy this for a second. Just a way for BOTH these twats to get their name back out there since we were lucky enough to forget about them for a hot second.

  11. @Mango, that book title is hysTERical!

  12. I called this ages ago...they will get back together, go back to visiting churches where they talk about how God put their marriage back together, continue the reality show and make way more money.

Isn't it better for their kids to have their parents together? Jon sorta balances out Kate.

  13. Kate would do anything to hang on to her 15 minutes and keep the money train going.

If they did get back together it would be purely to hang on to her show and so Jon could go back to beeing a lazy slug and cash big paychecks for doing nothing.

  14. If they do reunite, I will refuse to believe it is for anything but money and publicity unless they stay far, far away from any cameras or media.

  15. No way. I believe Kate somehow planted this because she's hates not being in the news. She's been doing some talk shows this month and the TV show is back in April.

Kids were filming last weekend as they do every holiday Kate has them (summer, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas break, etc). Jon has been dating his girlfriend for over a year and is trying to get increased custody which would cut into Kate's filming time.

  16. I concur with the above posts about "The Learning Channel," which has nothing to do with learning, and add A&E which has nothing to do with art or entertainment, as well as Court TV which, I believe, segued into Tru TV ("Not reality, actuality," whatever THAT means.) The Real World, Survivor and Big Brother were bad enough, but the plethora of "reality television" reflects the viewing public's willingness to watch absolute tripe that passes for programming nowadays.

  18. So as someone who actually watched this show (and enjoyed it) in its infancy, and someone who believes in marriage (between two people regardless of gender who actually love each other), I would actually like to see these two work it out for the sake of their children and each other, away from cameras. Far, far away from cameras. But do I think that's possible? No, I don't. I think they are both now fame-crazed and stupid. But in a perfect world, I would like to see them happily back together, with children who no longer know nothing of tv, and no pretense that their un-divorcedness would generate ratings. But again, that is probably not possible. Unfortunately.

  19. If he gets the order granted for increased custody, doesn't that mean he gets access to some/more of the kids' earnings?

  20. The kids have almost no money set aside for them. The little that is in the trust can be taken early if used for education (they're in private school) or health related expenses. If Jon got anything, instead of paying child support, Kate would pay him.

He has been very clear that he wants the filming to end. If he had more weekends and holidays, the kids wouldn't be available to film and the show would end.

  21. And Kate plays with Jon's visitation schedule. For example, this year Kate had Christmas and Jon was supposed to have New Years. So Kate used Christmas and then went to court so she could take the kids to Australia to film for New Years. Judge said it was okay because it was work related. A reasonable person trying to co-parent would have switched the days so Jon had Christmas. Kate is petty.
