E! Continues To Show NO Imagination

Apparently the big news today is that Kourtney Kardashian is engaged. Well, I am glad because at least this way Scott Disick will be kept away from other women. The bad news is that E! considers this to be the best thing since Ryan Seacrest started spending his own money on hair products. Of course when you are a Kardashian and are getting married the entire thing needs to be filmed by E!. So, yes world, there will be another Kardashian reality series. Lets tally them all shall we. There is the original Keeping Up With The Kardashians which really should be called Watch Kris Make Bruce Whine. There is the Kim & Kourtney Take_______ and the new Khloe And Lamar show which will now be followed by this Kourtney And Scott show. That is four shows a week. With repeats you are actually looking at about 40 hours a week of Kardashian programming. Please, oh please let it end.

  6. Someone from E! leaked that these two will not get a spinoff. I hope THAT is the truth...if not, the channel name should be changed to K! Television.

  9. These shows MUST be getting ratings, otehrwise they wouldn't be on the air, right? So, my question is - who the hell is watching this crap?!?!

  10. I back the ban!

I really don't even need updates on how disgusting or unjust their rule over the E!-loving masses is, anymore. Really. I'd be okay.

  11. The two girls I know that watch these shows are complete assholes.

I think that sums it up pretty well.

  15. Thirding the ban. Why are the Kardashians considered relevant?! I never thought there could be a person, let alone an entire family, that I would loathe more than Paris Hilton.

  18. I had never watched any of the Kardashian shows before last weekend, but I'm staying with a friend who only has basic cable (the HUMANITY) and there was nothing on, so I turned to E!

I could. Not. Stop. Watching. I watched several episodes of Keeping Up, and then Kim and Kourtney/ NY came on and I watched a few episodes of that. All of a sudden, several hours had gone by, and my brain felt like oatmeal.

  19. I am so glad I have never seen this show. From what I have read though, Scott is a violent drunk. It is bad enough they have a child together, but to marry this d-bag? GAG....

  20. I'm with Maja.

It's like a train wreck. It's absolutely no different than getting sucked into other "quality" program like Real Housewives of_____, Jersey Shore, Toddlers & Tiaras, Teen Mom ETC.

Sometimes, watching people with absolutely no socially redeeming qualities is entertaining. We can't all be into The History Channel & A&E. ;)

Do agree that yet another show is too much. I will not be watching the Khloe/Lamar or KourtenAY/DisDICK one.

  21. Not to be outdone, Andy Cohen has just announced Bravo's new show, "The Real Housewives of Kardashania."

  22. "I just wanna know WHO is watching all these shows?!?!?! I have never seen one!"

Kourtney and Khloe takes Miami is the forth most popular shows between the democrats. I´m not saying that to attack the democrats (I´m not even american) but just to show those people, for some reason unbeknownst to me, are immensely popular. People are really interesting in Khloe Kardashian!!!! Lord knows why...

  23. They started to show 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' here in Germany and I happened to watch one episode the other day. I've never seen any footage of the three sisters, only pictures. Now that I've seen them on tv, nobody can tell me anymore that Kim's behind is what she was born with. When you look at Khloe and Kourtney, you can clearly see the family resemblance and you get an idea of how Kim (and Kris) would look if she hadn't the nose job etc.
But if you look at Khloe and Kourtney's ass, they aren't even remotely as huge as Kim's. You can tell me what you want; that ass is fake.

  24. As much as I hate the Kardassians, even Kourtney deserves better than him.

  25. @ Mina - if Kim K's ass is fake (and I'm not doubting you) it's a very good store-bought ass. Very round, well positioned and not lumpy or misshapen. A lot of plastic surgeons don't do as well with breast implants (Tara Reid, Krazy Kelly Bensimon, LiLo's first boob job, etc.)

Kudos to Dr. Ass Implant 90210!

  26. Why would anyone watch this drivel? I can look at my own ass. I have mirrors! And if it's not big enough I'll just eat more BACON!

  27. I just came across this gem on Jezebel:

"We’re in 300 countries worldwide. Three hundred!" Kris exclaims. At press time, only 194 countries were recognized by the U.S. government.
