Celebrity Sibling Drug Week Continues In The Enquirer

First there was Shark Week and now The National Enquirer seems to be celebrating their own kind of week, celebrity sibling drug week. Yesterday it was Mariah Carey's HIV+ sister and today it is Tom Arnold's meth dealing sister. Tom's sister was just released from prison and now she is on her way to Hollywood. Probably just what her always fighting to stay sober brother needs.

Tom's sister is coming out to LA because she is trying to get a movie made of her life. Lori Arnold Woten was one of the biggest meth producers in the Midwest and was known as Scarface In A Skirt. You know what? That seems a little extreme. You want to see a crazy woman Scarface drug dealer watch that movie about Miami in the 80's and that Colombian woman who ordered killing after killing. I think the movie was Cocaine Cowboys. They even made a followup to the original. Why they never made a fictional account of that woman's life I will never know.

In an interview with The Enquirer Lori says she had so much money at one point she had to stuff it in her walls.

  1. So she did something like 12 years in prison? Doesn't seem like enough from what she said about the money. You have to get lots of people addicted to get that kind of money from meth.

  2. So the criminal is trying to make $$$ off her crimes. Pass.

And how many lives did she ruin to get all of this money? Obviously, jail did not teach her anything. Poor Tom.

  4. LOL @ Tom Arnold being a "celebrity."

Nah. I'll just keep watching Breaking Bad, thanks.

  5. Cocaine Cowboys is one of my fave docs! Griselda Blanco was one crazy lady.

Just say no to Cocaine Cowboys 2 though.

  10. Meth is a fairly profitable drug. In some areas, it retailed for two hundred a gram, and if you parcel it out in quarter or half grams for club-goers, you can rake in an enormous profit. Cooking it up from scratch converts a few hundred dollars into several thousand dollars, and if you get a few foot soldiers, you can turn the thousands into tens of thousands quickly. I guess what I'm trying to say is, there was and to some extent is a lot of money in meth.

Still, I can't imagine this skank's story would be worth listening to. She used drugs, sold drugs, got arrested and did time. I can't imagine anything new or interesting in that.

  11. There's a great book called Methland that describes the social history of the meth epidemic in the rural midwest. For a non-fiction book it was a total page turner (I'm not even being sarcastic!). Lori Arnold is described as being a big-deal meth dealer--it probably would make a good movie. Way better than Mariah's sister, anyhow. ;-)

  12. She's probably going to Hollywood to visit Charlie Sheen.

  19. Sunnyside, you should repost it here to keep the natives from getting too restless.

  20. sunnyside1213.......

Yes I read it....any clues...I almost thought Halle...and then it said he cheated but wasn't careful about it..so now I'm clueless....
And Halle isn't A+....she's won an Oscar but can't open a film....

  21. I thought it was against the law to profit from your crimes.

  22. @sunnyside and misch
It wouldn't be Reese would it? I can't think of anyone else, but I would like to think she's not that classless, plus that's old news.
    I got no one.
    Any one elses guesses?

  24. (Forgive the way OT post please)

Rocket Queen, in response to a post you made a few weeks back that I responded to way too late for you to see... I would like to recommend 2 websites to you for skin care/sunscreen info, www.cosmeticscop.com and www.beautypedia.com. The 2nd one is normally subscription based, but its free for four more days, until the end of February.

Thanks, back to your regularly scheduled responses. :)

  25. What's Lainey's blind? I need something to do while Enty is canoodling with the Kardashians...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Thank you so much, FS!!! xo Noted.

As for Lainey's new blind, it sounds like Halle or Cameron. Bugs me that the site that you used to be all over Lainey's blinds (and 99% accurate) seems to have stopped? I rely on them for her answers! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think it's Halle!!!

And yeah, Enty, you have GOT to tell us what's up. Sorry, but you've been uber-incognito lately. You have some 'splainin' to do!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Enty busy working on the radio show?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Meth represented by a needle?
    I'm clueless...

  30. @FS
I use both those sites and have purchased many of her skin care products. I usually don't purchase skin care or make-up till I read her review on it. Highly recommend both sites to everyone.

  31. Lainey's Blind sounds like Reese to me, too.

  32. On a totally different note: Apparently CBS has just shut down production for the season on Two and a Half Men, at least partially due to quite the interview Charlie did today. Some of what he said about the writer was teetering on the wire over the shark tank of anti-semitism, some of it's flat-out delusion, and some of it's frankly dangerous--he's convinced he's evolved far beyond we ordinary peons, and behaves accordingly. At this point, I almost don't care if he dies; I only hope he doesn't take anyone else with him, and I'll feel terrible for his family, esp. his parents, but right now he's just a complete waste of oxygen.

  33. I was watching some kind of Meth doc on TLC yesterday and was astonished to learn that for every viable pound of meth there is 10 lbs of hazards waste. Unbelievable.
As someone who cares about the enviorment I was so pissed off to hear this news.
This women then is not only responsible for creating drugs for people that harm their lives but worst of all is ruining the Earth for her selfish ghastly need for money.
I will never see a movie she is in- I feel like boycotting her with almost the same vervor as I do Mel Gibson.

  34. and as for the Charlie SHeen interview news- Whoa- when is that thing gonna air?
Sounds like it will be as good as Whitney's 'crack is whack' interview.
Please let it be so :)

  35. TMZ has just published some open letter rant from Sheen. Oh this will be a fun 24 hours.

Patty, another member of the flock. In the name of the BHA, the AHA, and the SPF. Amen. :)

  36. Boy Crazy

Everyone’s expecting the next wave of straight up psycho to hit any time now, or at least just as soon as her current romance sours. Especially those who had experience with it last time, seeing as she keeps picking men who inevitably step out on her.

Her ex was cheating, and he wasn’t careful about. Word got out to a magazine because the other girl talked. She of course lost her f-cking sh-t. Complete meltdown. Which is not unusual, no. But you don’t let them see, right? You should never let them see.

    What did she do?

Mega A List star calls up the editor. Of a tabloid. And wails her ass. WAILS. Screaming, cursing, threatening… and then this:

“I hope that bitch gets cancer. You can print that.”

    Embarrassing, right?

Amazingly, they spared her the humiliation and did not publish the quote. But the publicist owed some favours after that. And next time, with a new regime, she may not be so lucky.

    Guesses, Halle or Cam Diaz.

  37. I just wanted to say that there actually is a TV show which has creatively used some of the infamous exploits of Griselda Blanco in Miami in the early days of coke in the US-- at one point she killed some people and left their small children sitting in a closed-off shipping container in blood & body parts for days before they were found-- um.... Dexter, anyone?

I too am clueless as to why there is a needle here but I guess I should be happy I know nothing of meth.

OT- I want to know the subject of that Lainey blind that the previous poster put up! Guesses??

  39. I heard the Charlie Sheen rant on the news last night......

    DEAR CHARLIE,

I HOPE NEVER TO SEE YOUR SORRY ASS ON ANY FORM OF MEDIA YOU GET PAID FOR.
I HOPE NEVER TO HEAR YOUR BIGOTED COMMENTS....TO CALL YOU AN IDIOT IS TOO KIND.
YOU HAVE BEEN LUCKY, BUT YOUR LUCK JUST RAN OUT....

To the network and to the producers
of 2 1/2 men......replace him...just replace him...there is plenty of talent out there....

    ReplyDelete
  40. @MISCH -- replace, schmaplace! They need to just CANCEL that horrible shit and put something else on the air! There are plenty of struggling writers out there who've created worthier pilots, I'm sure.

I don't trust any show with a laugh track. If I have to be subliminally coaxed into finding something humorous, I don't want anything to do with it.

  41. amoteafloat....

O.K. I'm with you...have never watched it anyway....and I agree there is so much talent just waiting for a chance...
