This famous family is pretending solidarity in the spotlight, but for the last year and half the biggest celebrity in the family not only refuses to speak to everyone else behind the scenes, they also are taking legal action against the parents.

Kim K has often seemed to be over the rest of her family. Her mom is/was her manager, right? So that could be reason for a lawsuit.
ReplyDeleteI can't see it being Janet, because what could possibly be her reason for suing both of her parents? It wouldn't be about money, and if it were about Michael's kids, she'd just be suing Katherine, right?
I thought Janet Jackson right away but I don't know what she could be suing about.

ReplyDeleteKardashian mom is here, but Robert Kardashian (one of OJ's famed legal team) died many years ago.
Mama K then married Bruce Jenner, and I believe they have two daughters together, but they are being packaged as Kardashians (rather than Jenners) for career purposes.
By career I mean.... well, you know.
But what public solidarity have the Jacksons had, for years?
ReplyDeleteIt is probably some less obvious family...so just for fun because I like them and have long suspected something is up - my nonconformist left field guess is the Jonas family. Those boys weirdly ceased producing music, spending time together or being coherently managed as a group (dad is the manager) at a really inopportune time in their career - just about 18 months ago in fact...Joe is the arguably more famous one and has a solo album about to come out.
How do you keep legal proceedings secret these days, though?
Why would the Kardashians have to *fake* solidarity, though? They're making shittons of money, they at least appear to like each other quite a bit, and they haven't undergone a hardship since their dad died -- whereas the Jackson family is obviously pretty whacked-out and troubled.
ReplyDeleteYou NEVER see Janet with Germaine or LaToya or Germajesty et al. She honestly doesn't strike me as a dumb woman, and I'll bet she was the closest to Michael. I say this is her -- she's being a protective auntie, and I hope she gets custody of those poor kids.
Selock- the Jackson brothers had that horrible, horrible reality show on A&E about themselves. Of course, they rushed to get on tv not long after Michael died, despite the family not having been close in recent years up to his death. The whole thing was too tacky for words.

Its Janet, she hates how the kids are being exposed and knows Michael would not want this...he protected them from the public and the media.

Hadn't Katharine kicked Joe out and got some type of restraining order against him to keep the kids safe? I don't know if I am remembering correctly.
ReplyDeleteNot to be sour or anything but if they're taking legal action, which is a public process, there is no reason in the world for this to be a blind. Unless it's a farce of a blind, which I often think of BuzzFoto.
