BuzzFoto Blind Item

This B list actress in the world of Network Television struggles on a daily basis to cope with the pressures of fame. She’s admitted to an eating disorder, but what most people don’t know is that she is a cutter. She cuts on her upper thigh and has written the name of her show into her skin.

  2. Hopefully the show has a one-word title. :-(

  3. Could it be Portia? I can't think of any other TV stars that have admitted to eating disorders.

  4. Please let Courteney Cox have the words COUGAR TOWN cut into her thigh.

  5. Portia? Someone from Glee?

  6. Ginnifer Goodwin in Big Love? Title of the show def fits! She always wears long dresses to premieres too it seems. Whoever it is I hope they get help.

  7. @crila16 -- you could be onto something with the Glee guess. I'm gonna say Lea Michele -- she could be considered B list for TV but another grade for Broadway, hence the "in the world of network television".

  8. Calista Flockhart - she admitted to an eating disorder years after the fact.

  9. Lea has attributed her weight loss to her vegan diet, not an eating disorder. That being said, I eat vegan 90% of the time and I could stand to lose a good 15 pounds, so I think there's something else going on there, even if she hasn't admitted it.

  10. Big Love is cable, not network, right, so not Ginnifer Goodwin.

And Lea's scrawny thighs were photographed in that GC shoot.

    Uh Oh

  12. How about that extremely thin actress from The Vampire Diaries -- Nina Dobrev? Isn't it a network show? Although I am not sure she would be considered a B-list TV actress.

  13. Jamie Lynn Sigler (is that how you spell it?) was a spokesperson for eating disorders. Is she on TV right now? She would be classed as B because of the Sopranos right?

  14. @Penelope, I hope she didn't abbreviate like they do on the commericals, lol. Having VD cut on your thighs might make for some awkward 3rd dates....

  15. It's gotta be someone that admitted to having an eating disorder. I think we start from there and work towards who with eating disorders has is on TV. I like the Calista guess...I hope it's not Portia!

  16. Hopefully it's someone from a show with a short title like Glee and not How I Met Your Mother. Yikes!

  17. @chopchop - NO kidding!

I can't really see it being Portia. How could she be stressed? She's married to Ellen & they are rich! ;) (I'm kidding)

Ginnifer Goodwin hasn't admitted to an eating disorder.

Catherine Bell?? She's admitted to an ED but seems like this person might be younger.

  18. Is Jamie Lynn Sigler currently on a network show?

  20. I'm going out on a limb here and guessing Jenna Fischer. I think of her as someone who would be struggling with the pressure of fame...meaning not sure what to make of it all.
Lea Michelle seems to know EXACTLY what to do with fame and she wants more.
Also, eating disorders don't always result in being skinny - binge/purging is one disorder that doesn't always show physically.
Just throwing that out there - and I could be way off.

  27. Speaking as an ex-cutter myself (I cut for 9 years; have not in 7) I'm going to guess this isn't someone like Courtney Thorne Smith, Portia de Rossi or Courteney Cox for 2 reasons:
1 They can probably handle fame just fine, and
2 Cutters tend to be fairly young. Try guessing from the 30 or (much) younger crowd. I was 14 when I started, and I had "bulimarexia", as they call it.

  28. Also - cutting's a symptom, not a disorder in & of itself. It's a feature of depression, sometimes schizophrenia, and very very often anger. Sexual abuse and ESPECIALLY eating disorders are more prevalent than among noncutters. It's all hatred of one's body.
Cutting seems (and, honestly, is) pretty sick, but it's a kind of messed up way of keeping oneself alive: endorphins can make stress a lot more manageable.
