  1. I just don't get it....why is she so needy. I would never pay a man to be with me.

  2. Low self esteem anyone?

  3. I'm more shocked that Jessica Simpson even HAS that kind of money to dole out

  4. I would say I am shocked but I am not. She needs to hold on to what she has, when's the last time she did anything relevant.
    Stop throwing your money away!

  5. Why doesn't this guy have money? He was an NFL football player and went to Yale? How could he not have money left over and every opportunity to get a job?

Also-would this be a blind if it were a male celebrity supporting his girlfriend?

  6. @ Cecilia00

I think she makes her money from her shoe/bag/clothes/perfume line.

  7. Her clothing line is worth over $750 million.

  8. I doubt we'll see him trying to get a job anytime soon. He has one: holding her up as she staggers out of restaurants.

  9. Is anyone really shocked by this?

  10. She was A-List at one point?!?

I don't listen to country but I at least I am familiar with the songs of the big country stars.

  11. To pick up on what Janele said, when was Jessica EVER an A-List singer?

She may be A-List in terms of name recognition, but she was never an A-List singer.

  12. I would guess she was A list while she was married to Nick and had the MTV show. Once she kicked Nick to the curb and he show ended, she lost the sparkle.

  13. Ohhhh. I keep seeing reveals. Exciting!!! It's been an emotional morning, this is a nice change.

  14. I thought this would be Xtina. I never thought Jess would be A list either at any point.

  15. Jessica has loads of $. People forget, she may not have made it big in the singing world, but she has a very popular and successful clothing line. She's so pretty, I don't understand her low self-esteem and why she keeps latching on to losers. She acts so desperate.

  16. Good point Ice Angel. I agree.

  17. Ice Angel -- remember Missy Elliott's line from "Lady Marmalade"? "Why spend mine, when I could spend yours?"

  18. Not surprised. I think most people guessed her. He must give her really good lovin'. :)

  21. I wish she'd go gayelle, and pay me 10k a month.

  22. She's loaded, and if she wants him by her side 24/7, there's no way he can hold a job.

    I can see this, easy.

  23. I really like her shoe and handbag lines. But now, every time I use one of her handbags, I'll be remembering some of my hard earned money is going to support that guy.

    Crap.

  24. Wonder if she is having him sign a prenup?

  25. who.cares? Ever heard of a woman being the main bread-winner? I have, and I don't have a problem with it. If they love each other, good for both of them. I don't see how who's paying makes a difference.

  26. Agree that Jessica was never A list. Or if she was, I sneezed and missed it.

Her guy might have a bit of cash stashed away but nothing compared to her fashion line, which is worth upwards of $500 million. (Hint to Jessica: HIre a stylist. You have the bank!)

@sunnyside1213: There were reports that JS was not requiring her fiance (can't even remember his name) to sign a pre-nup. I'll bet her father is sweating buckets!

  28. Right now Nick Lachey is thinking "Whew...dodged that bullet!"
