Well, at least I like Owl City, but I hope this does not go to their head. Apparently Taylor Swift had a huge crush on Adam Young of Owl City. She wrote a song about him which said she had a huge crush on the guy. It was veiled in clues, but Adam recognized some of the words from their e-mails and there was that whole A-D-A-M clue in the liner notes.
So, of course since yesterday was Valentine's Day and Taylor needed a big boost of publicity since she is not dating anyone, the whole story somehow managed to explode yesterday. What a coincidence huh? Adam wrote on his band's blog yesterday about how he is smitten with Taylor and even wrote new lyrics to the song Enchanted which was her song to him.
Now they just need to have the obligatory trip to a coffee shop for some photos and they can each move on. I hope they move on because I really do not want to stop liking Owl City and if she somehow breaks up the band that would be less than Enchanting.
She moves fast. So she was smitten with this guy and writing songs about him while "supposedly" with Jake?

ReplyDeleteI thought little Taylor was kinda cute in the beginning with all that romeo crap, but now she's just annoying.
Taylor is pretty, but she comes across as very immature, so I'm not surprised when guys dump her.

ReplyDeleteSomething is off about this story. It's like you said, Enty, it's all too convenient that this came out on Valentine's Day. And while they're declaring their love for each other, they've never said anything about say, having a conversation on the phone about this after it all came to light. Or are they dating now or what? Something stinks. (I always thought Adam was gay, but that's beside the point. I love me some Owl City!)
