Today's Blind Items

Sorry this is late, but how about I tell you Charlie Sheen has the herp. That should make up for it a little. Anyway there is a former A list movie star who is still a solid B and beloved by a blogger to the north. Anyway it turns out our actor recently caught the same disease. Wonder if that played a part in his most recent breakup.

  3. he's talking about lainey (out of canada) and her LOVE for goopy (ie, gwyneth p).
but who's the actor? does this mean she has the herp?

  4. Lol! Straight up reveal. It always make me laugh my ass off when you just don't fucking CARE, Enty :)

I'm guessing the blogger to the north is Lainey....hmm who does she love? Actually, I'm going to go with Colin Farrell. She loves him A LOT and he just broke up with his baby mama.

  5. oh. just got it. the a list movie star beloved is the one who has the std (poor guy). i feel for anyone who discovers that they have an std (doesn't necessarily mean they are trashy/slutty/bad). however, i hope they tell their future partners.

  6. At this point, I think the bigger shock is that there are STDs that Charlie doesn't have.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Isn't already known that Colin Farrell has the herp? I was sure I already knew that, so could it be someone else that Lainey loves?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Lainey used to love Jake more than she does now...but she's still relentless in declaring him straight- it's pretty obvious she's on someone's payroll for her support. I say it's Jakey.

  9. TMZ is saying Charlie has checked into rehab.
Not sure if it will take, but I guess it's a start

    ReplyDelete
  10. lol and here I was worried we wouldn't get a 4 for Friday. That more then made up for it. If Charlie only has herpies he is lucky.

But did Jake get herpies from a boy or a girl?

  11. she also loves loves loves ryan gosling. but i don't see him as a former-a list

    ReplyDelete
  12. Love the straight out reveal, can July 4th come any sooner?

    ReplyDelete
  13. I hope Charlie is in a "real" rehab that can help him realize how much he needs help and not one of the 100 that didn't really help Lindsey Lohan

    ReplyDelete
  14. @Cecilia00 - I don't think he was given much of a choice this time ;) Shame it won't take since he was pressured into it.

  15. Goopie must have the herp, because Brad has it.
Did anyone really think Charlie Sheen didn't have it ?
And Jake got it from Kiki, just like Reese got it from cheating Ryan and on and on...
These have been floating around out there for ages....There was a blind that Bruce Willis was cheating on the new wife and recently got it...
Lainey also swears that Bradley Cooper is straight....I question that, and also carries on about Kate Hudson being this great MANSLINGER, moving from guy to guy not looking back....Please...
The whole A-Rod thing...she chased him for weeks after the break-up he wouldn't even answer her calls...(it was common knowledge on the New York blogs)
For me I assume every actor or actress has it...it's just easier.

  16. Wow that reveal was really in your face. Not unexpected, but very too the point. I choked a little on my rice cake.

As for the B list herp, it must be colin farrel. Lainey really loves him.

  17. I have said this before...but who cares? More than 20 percent of NORMAL people have herpes.

In Hollywood, people have more sexual partners. I assume the rate of Herpes is much much higher. Surprised that is isn't close to 100 percent.

It isn't Toothy, I mean Jake. His relationship and breakup were purely business decisions. He had a movie coming out, she had a CD coming out. So, the fake relationship.

And of course Charlie has Herpes. He has sex with porn actresses by the dozen. Their rate of herpes really is close to 100 percent.

  18. In other news, Demi Lovato has left rehab (to clear a spot for Charlie???) and wants to get back to her "regular routine". Wasn't it her regular routine that got her into rehab in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  19. If it is Colin would make sense why his baby mama left him. Not that Colin is ever going to be tied down to one woman for very long but will have tons of babies along the way. The man just loves making babies!

  20. lainey loves colin farrell- at least she did until recently. she was upset with some of his behavior towards his gf which led to them breaking up. i say colin ftw

  21. Dear Jah,

Thank you sooooo much for only letting me contract HPV in college in the early '80s before AIDS was invented and when The Herp was the absolute last straw of awfulness a person could catch from another person.
Because nowadays The Herp is apparently socially acceptable to the point of being *assumed* to be a part of normal celebrity life.

    Amen, sk

    ReplyDelete
  22. @Sean - I guess the 80% of us "normal" people who don't have it still think it's a pretty crappy thing to have.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'd like this to be that douche Ryan Reynolds but I think he's A list. Maybe Josh Hartnett, not sure if he recently broke up with anyone though. I thought everyone knew Colin had it?

    ReplyDelete
  24. These comments remind me of a joke some comedian made about AIDS: it makes getting herpes seem like a blessing.
The ones about Colin Farrell remind me of a guy I worked with who, when asked if he had a girlfriend said, "I got LOTS of babymommas, but I AIN'T got no girlfriend!"

    ReplyDelete
  25. Wow Robert, care to introduce me?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ugh, Lainey. So obnoxious. :{

  27. My University Student Health Center says that 1 in 4 Americans have herpes. That must include many of the regulars here, including the lurkers, so perhaps we could be a little more sensitive to them? Don't want to get on a high horse, I just remember how depressing it was to the students that came in when I volunteered there.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I like it up here on my very high nonSTD horse, thank you very much.

I'm going with Toothy for the blind.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Sounds like Lainey as the blogger and Colin Farrell as the beleagured A-B

    ReplyDelete
  30. I concur - Colin Farrell

    ReplyDelete
  31. This can't be Colin since he was the one who gave it to Britney back in the day which led to her meltdown. At the time, Colin was fucking everyone from Britney to LiLo to Paris, etc, so he been have the Herp.

As for CS, yeah that was pretty much a given since he fucked Jenna Jameson back in the day and she has it.

  32. Frankly I'd be much more shocked to hear who in Hollyweird DOESN'T have the herp.

  35. Lainey isn't really a Colin fan these days. They "broke up". UGH.
I don't think it was so much the treatment of his BM that did it but the fact that he is starting to have a string of women that he gets pregnant and then dumps. Whatever, she gets on my nerves sometimes. Point being, I don't think it is him unless Enty isn't up on Lainey's latest change of heart “teenage stlyles” (I don’t think she has ever used that phrase but she would). At least the world won't be subjected to any more creepy open letters to him “I saw you out with the mother of your child today, so beautiful. Are you happy to be a father again? Your movie came out a while back. Do you often think back to that time, when you were falling in love with each other? Did I mention that my husband is Polish?” BARF.

  36. Wel, now doctors say the estimate is more like 80% of people have some form of herpes, but only 20% have outbreaks, the others are just carriers, so alot of the people condemning others on here probably have it themselves and just don't know.

But I agree its Colin Farrell. Sigh. He's gorgeous, but he would pretty much have sex with anything.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm sorry, but this is just a ridiculous blind. Everyone can pick and choose which gossip blogger they want to believe (or not), but writing a blind item that implicates another blogger is just stupid. Just write your own blind items without denigrating others. Oh, and as others have mentioned, many people have herpes and it is totally disrespectful to insinuate that only "dirty" people like Charlie Sheen have it.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Colin Farrel is 34 and only have 2 children so far, nowhere near this string of babymommas y'all are talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  39. kariodi--it's not implicating the blogger, part of the hint as to the identity of the blind is that it's someone who that blogger likes. It's something that narrows down the field from 3/4 of Hollywood.

  40. Lainey's Freebie 5...

    1. Jim Sturgess
    2. Robert Sheehan
    3. Nathan Stewart Jarrett
    4. Iwan Rheon
    5. Jordan Staal

Colin hasn't been on this list in ages.

  41. Long time reader, very inactive poster here:

Most people have some form of the herpes virus, this includes the virus that causes cold sores. Most people have never even had an outbreak and have no idea they are carrying it. Even people without symptoms who carry the virus can pass it on (via mouth and/or genitals). If you have a cold sore and have oral sex, you can pass the virus to the genitals of your partner. There are many strains of the virus, but practically all of them can affect the mouth, anus, thigh, and mouth region.

Considering that most of us are at the very least asymptomatic carriers of the virus, I don't think anyone should be on a high horse.

  42. Another site reveal says either Colin, or Ryan Reynolds.....

    ReplyDelete
  43. Would you really call Ryan Reynolds a "former A list movie star who is still a solid B"? Seems like his star is on the rise, but I don't see where he was ever an A before.

Colin Farrell? More likely. He definitely isn't as high on the list as he was a few years ago.

Jake Gyllenhaal? Maybe. Still don't think there was any cause to his recent breakup other than it had been milked enough for both of them. Whether he is gay or not, that whole thing was clearly a publicity stunt.

  48. Sorry herpes and other STD carriers, but there are plenty of us who do not have "it" and we know because we get tested and make our partners get tested as well BEFORE having sex. Not catching an STD is as simple as not getting pregnant. Those who can't grasp those concepts prob shouldn't be engaging in the act itself until you can figure those basics out. Taking care of yourself physically and mentally includes your sexual health. So yes, STD's are about as dirty as it gets because they are not only preventable but VERY easy to avoid. You can always tell who has it because they say the nonsense of "almost everyone" having it. I understand that makes you feel better and the dr. made light of ur diagnosis to help you carry on, but that statement sounds totally ridiculous to those who don't have it. The only ppl I feel sorry for who contract it are poor innocent children who get it from their gross, ignorant parents and spouses who have been deceived.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Wow. Not that this necessarily started out as a discussion on "the herp," but there is a lot of ignorance out there.

    1) Let's do the math. 1 in 4 US women has it. 1 in 5 US guys has it. Count it out: if you've slept with 4 women or 5 guys, depending on your gender and preferences, you've been exposed. I promise you that you aren't smart enough to tell by looking when someone has it, and Herpes is transmitted skin-to-skin, not through fluid. Translation? A condom won't keep you from getting it.

    2) a herpes test is not part of your standard STD panel. I don't know why, but it's not. So if you do a yearly check up and you think that's got you covered, think again. You have to specifically ask for it.

    3) everyone has a story. And not every transmission story is a mistake. It's nice to tell yourself that you're too smart or too educated or too pretty to catch it, but it doesn't work like that. Have four friends? Look around, if it isn't you then it is one of them. Are you willing to condemn any one of them for being dirty and unfit to socialize with?

    4) it is absolutely true that people can have it and have no idea, and not because they are irresponsible.

    5) Be careful with your Karma. Spewing out that much venom against a whole group of people is a pretty good way to set yourself up for the same. Pride goes before the fall.

    6) Do us all a favor: go get yourself tested. Specifically ask for the Herpes panel. When you get your results, assuming that you are "negative" ask the doctor if you are negative because you have no antibodies to HSV-2 or if you are negative because your antibody count is under .9. If it is the former, you've never been exposed. If it is the latter, congratulations: you got exposed and your immune system found it before it settled in for a good long stay. If you are positive and didn't know it, you are in for a very rough ride and you have my sympathy.

    7) With the exception of two virgins getting together for the first time, if you are sexually active random chance is the only thing that stands between you and all kinds of outcomes we'd all rather avoid if given the choice.

I was a 20 year old engaged virgin when my soon to be husband gave me Herpes and Genital Warts. Thank God above the Herpes was really just a few outbreak thing and have not had one in 23 years plus. Had to have surgery twice for the warts to finally get rid of hit. Scarred and distraught, I thought my life was over when I divorced the cheating scumbag a year later. Got remarried, had two children and never gave it to what became cheating ex-husband number two after 13 years. Happily married to number three for almost 9 years. I was always honest and have never given anything to anyone. Charlie dating porn stars and people who "f" everything in sight, maybe deserving. Some of us were not, so maybe consider that when you talk about people like they are trash.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Wow, there is a lot of meanness and judgement here. Yes, not getting pregnant is easy. Very easy. You can take precautions against that. But how do you protect yourself when you are the only one in a monogamous relationship be you married or not? If two people start out, get tested and everything is fine assuming they're together when the results are given ok. But that doesn't mean someone doesn't stray.

But I always thought all of the judgement of the German singer who infected that guy when she was 17 and he was 23 was nuts. He claims his life was ruined because a kid acted like an irresponsible kid, while an adult didn't think to use protection to not get said kid pregnant. And surely she was so special to be the only person he was tossing it up with unprotected. I think she was stupid for not using a condom because of what he could have given her to made her situation worse, because if he's going raw with you, it's probably his way of handling business.

    ReplyDelete
  52. "...and make our partners get tesed as well BEFORE having sex."

And then dump them if they have an STD? Harsh. I think a lot of people would say that it was worth the risk of contracting herpes if they were dating someone they cared about.

    "...not getting pregnant is easy."

Not necessarily. Birth control fails. Even if you're using it 100% correctly.

    ReplyDelete
  53. And not matter how hard you try, you can't always protect yourself from being sexually assaulted. There are a lot of ways to get STDs - assuming it is necessarily from being irresponsible is judgmental and ignorant.
