Today's Blind Items
This almost A list always foreign born movie actor was dining at a restaurant two nights ago with his B list movie actress significant other. When our actor saw who was serving them, our actor told his significant other they could ask for another waiter because it turns out our actor had slept with the waiter. His significant other replied, "Oh, its ok, I slept with him too."
Javier Bardem?
ReplyDeleteWhat RQ said^.
ReplyDeleteno idea but hahahaha
ReplyDeleteShatner *giggle*
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeletejude law? i guess it's pushing it to call sienna miller b-list, tho...
ReplyDeleteDaniel Craig and Rachel Weisz?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking Jude and Sienna as well
ReplyDeleteBi actors, Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem are good but isn't Penelope Cruz an Oscar winner thus making her A list?
ReplyDeleteJavier Bardem is a good guess, only isn't Penelope Cruz A list since she's Oscar nominated? This one is funny no matter who it is!
ReplyDeleteAlso, it doesn't say actress is foreign born. If that's not a slip, then she must be American.
ReplyDeleteJavier is A-list as well. Won for the Cohen Brothers movie, No Country for Old Men. Weisz may have won for The Constant Gardner, if memory serves me correctly.
ReplyDeleteAlexander Skaarsgard/Kate Bosworth?
ReplyDeleteWinning an Oscar does not automatically make you A-list for Enty's scale.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they asked the waiter to go home with them... or who the waiter thought was the best in bed?
ReplyDeleteHey, you have to admire the honesty!!
Good guess, Story!
ReplyDeletejude law /sienna miller?
ReplyDeleteOh...except that Skarsgard is big now on TV, and the blind sas movie actor. Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteAntonio Banderas/Melanie Griffith.
ReplyDeleteThat waiter gets around.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ms Cool.
ReplyDeleteThere have been rumors about Bardem being gay but also about Cruz playing for the other team (remember that she "dated" Tom Cruise). I don't buy her sleeping with random dudes in LA. Besides, Cruz would rank at least as high as Bardem.
ReplyDeleteAlso not...
- Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher, both foreigners
- Hugh Jackman and his non-acting wife
- Hayden Christensen (even if he's Canadian) and Rachel Bilson (more TV than movies)
Anyway, I'm thinking about a Canadian, an Australian or a Brit.
The wording made me laugh because I read it as "always foreign born".
ReplyDeleteToo bad Ashton is American. My first thought was Javier, but I would have put Penelope as A list myself.
shakey, i read it the same way too!
ReplyDeletei like Story's askars/bosworth guess. *jumps on train*
my first thought was antonio & melanie as well...
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see this waiter, he must be a real looker!
ReplyDeleteMy other guess would be Tom Hardy/Lindsay Lohan. Have read Tom is bisexual, but so is Skaarsgard.
ReplyDeleteHugh Dancy and Claire Danes?
ReplyDeleteWow, I have no idea for a guess. I just wonder what they left the waiter as a tip.
ReplyDeleteBloom and Kerr?
ReplyDeleteBluh. Does this sound to anyone else like a well-adjusted couple just having a nice night out? He's not only forthcoming enough to reveal to her that he slept with the waiter (he's open and honest, and she doesn't seem to care about his past dalliances). Then she, in my opinion, makes a silly joke to ease his anxiety and goes, "Oh haha! I did too!" I don't think she really did (though he may have). I think whoever overheard this probably took it the wrong way.
ReplyDeleteThis one made me laugh. They must have a pretty open relationship to be able to admit that to one another. My guess is jumping on someone else's guess - Skarsgard and Bosworth.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was Bardem/Cruz, but as others have commented here, she's likely A List or at least B+. If the waiter were a hermaphrodite, I'd go with this guess, though. Can't see either of them having a one night stand with someone of the opposite sex, but I could be wrong.
i think penelope cruz is solid A list and bardem has an oscar too. i think they're both 'too A' for this couple.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea who the couple is, but I wonder if the waiter was uncomfortable? Either way, it's a pretty good story and whoever the couple is sound like they have their heads firmly on their shoulders. Good for them.
ReplyDeleteETA, I hope they left the waiter a good tip.
Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz got married, right? So I'd doubt this is them, even if Penelope Cruz weren't at least B+, because Enty would likely have written his "wife" instead of significant other.
ReplyDeleteStill mulling over other guesses...
Off topic, but did anyone else watch Law and Order :SVU last night and notice how WHITE Gloria Reuben has become? It was almost mask-like and immediately I thought of a recent blind about an actress who is bleaching her skin - anyone?
ReplyDeletethose crazy kids from the twilight movies????
ReplyDeleteCould it be Michael Sheen and Rachel McAdams?? Would he be considered A list?
ReplyDeletemaybe its adam rodriquez and canada singer melanie fiona.
ReplyDeleteOoooohh. . .that's an interesting guess, Lisa. Whether Sheen is a-list and McAdams b-list I have no idea.
ReplyDeleteI like Cecilia's guess of Bloom/Kerr. He would be A for Pirates of the Carribean. Don't know about her though. And I always got an iffy vibe from him.
ReplyDeleteI would go out on a limb (OK, not really ;) and say it's a fake. Inspired by a TV show rerun most probably.
ReplyDeleteAngela - Hugh Jackmans wife Deborah Furness is an actress, mainly in australia though.
ReplyDeleteI decided to think of this by country....so for Canadians -
ReplyDeleteJim Carrey
Hayden Christensen
Ryan Gosling
Keanu Reeves
Ryan Reynolds
I have to say, any one of them could be a possibility.
British actors -
ReplyDeletePaul Bettany
Sacha Baron Cohen
Daniel Craig
Colin Firth - please no, no!!!!!
Jude Law
Mike Myers
Clive Owen
Daniel Radcliffe
Alan Rickman
One of the funniest things I've read on this blog in a long time--thanks for the Friday funny! I have no clue to the answers though.
ReplyDeleteSome folks are combining item 1 and 2; this is not about a Latin man or woman, per se. The actor plays "foreign born," not necesarily is foreign born. Like Martin Sheen is Latino, but plays Irish.
ReplyDelete@Felix -
ReplyDeleteI think Enty meant "foreign born always movie actor" not "always foreign born movie actor" like the blind says.
I read it as almost A list always //foreign born //movie actor
ReplyDeletenaomi watts and liev schrieber
ReplyDeleteKerr is not a movie actress. She's a model. And two nights ago or thereabouts, she was having a baby.
ReplyDeleteIt would help if the sentence was grammatically correct, because as previous posters have shown, it completely changes the possibilities of the couple...
