Random Photos Part One

Three parts today.

Its the entire Richie/Madden family and a princess dress.

Olivia Munn has that kind of Kate Middleton clothes wearing thing going on.
Paul Giamatti seems to be compensating for his lack of hair on his head with his beard.
Interesting way to make a pizza. Does the 10 second rule apply if he drops it or his shoe hits it?
Real Housewife Lisa Vanderpump, Jill Zarin and over on the left is Robbie Williams' new wife, Ayda.
Rooney Mara is Lisbeth Salander.

Reese Witherspoon helps out a homeless guy who
makes Reese laugh.
And she gets carried some more.

  1. Is a down coat the required uniform for stars when they are on-set?

  2. And I could be wrong but I think the blond in the photo with Jill Zarin who has her back turned is Lisa Gastineau

  3. Harlow and Sparrow are adorable - little clones of Nicole and Joel

  4. tom will carry suri down the aisle and hand her off to her husband, i truly do believe.

    it drives me nuts.

  5. I don't even mind she's being carried this time, at least she has a coat on!
And I'm sorry, I know children are usually off limits, but Harlow Madden is not cute. She looks like an albino with frizzy hair and Joel's face.
So typical Jill Zarin is schmoozing with Lisa - everyone likes Lisa so of course Jill is trying to buddy/buddy her.

  6. I think the Madden children are adorable.

How in the hell did Jill hook-up with Lisa?

Both Kate and Suri look miserable.

  7. Rooney Mara doesn't look like her at all!

  8. Lisbeth has to have no breast at all

    and Lol @nancer. too funny!

  10. Yay, a peripheral Robbie Williams mention! Hahaha!

And associated with the awesome Lisa VDP!

  11. UGH! I can hear Jill through the picture! *whaaat are you doing? we're eating lunch? Can't you see that? wah wah wah!*

  12. That Rooney chick looks absurdly sickly ghastly thin. Ick nast.

  13. Agree the Madden-Richie kids are gorgeous!

Now I haven't read the books but I just saw the original Swedish "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and...dare I say I thought it was boring?? What am I missing?!

  14. I love the Madden-Richie family.

    I LOOOOOOOVE Paul Giamatti.

  15. @chihuahuense - I love that pic of her though! Mouth wide open. Oops!

@RocketQueen - I have only read the first book & seen the first movie but the book was DEFINITELY better (big surprise).

Mch and RQ, I didn't read the book, saw the movie and liked it very much. It is slow but thought it was pretty good.

  18. Hmm ok. It seemed like just an old school murder mystery with two detectives that was pretty slow moving, although Lisbeth herself us an interesting character.

  19. I agree with you RocketQueen. I was late to read the Dragon Tattoo but when I did, it was like "What's all the fuss about?" Salander is a good character but the rest of the book was slow and boring. Plus I HATE violence against women and that's all it was about.

I can't stand Reese Witherspoon. There, I said it. I feel better!

I'm seriously all for love but she seems so fuckin' smug - I always thought this but it's turned up to 11 lately. And while I agree 100% about her apparent stance that photographers should never, ever be permitted to take the pics of 'star' children or stalk schools, I will believe 'til the end of time that reps for her (pretty type-A princess must never do this for herself!) contact paps to snap her at Reese-authorized times. Overrated, snobby bitch.

  21. suri! that's all i needed to see. *hearts*

  22. RQ, if you thought the movie was boring, don't even think about reading the book. they edited huge parts of the story out of the movie, making it actually better than the book. i thought the movie was good, but i'd never read another one of those books.

having said that, the swedish actress cannot be beat in that role. this chick....ain't lisbeth.

  23. Just finished the second book and going out to buy the 3rd tomorrow. Once I got into them I couldn't put them down. Lisbeth is 4'10 and boyishly skinny according to the books.

  24. I love that haircut for Lisbeth.

I guess she won't be getting a boob job in the movie.

I think you need to read the book to get more background info for the movie. I almost stopped reading the book because I couldn't give a crap about financial information. Once Blomkvist starts investigating the disappearance is when the whole book gets really good. The parts with Lisbeth are all good.

Looserdude, the author wanted to get the message out about violence against women in Sweden. He named the character after a girl he had seen gang-raped when he was a teen. He felt guilty for not reporting it.

  25. Please, no more Olivia Munn. She is dragging down the Daily Show, and it pisses me off.

Lisbeth is supposed to be scary thin. I thought the first book was slow to start, but after that I really loved the trilogy.

  26. I'm starting to wonder if maybe Suri was born with a birth defect to her legs. Because she never seems to walk.

  27. Those Rooney pics made me pretty psyched for the movie!

  28. I agree. The first book starts off slow and was rather boring in the beginning. Mid-book I really got into it and couldn't put it down. The second book was even better. I have not read the third yet. Lisbeth is a great character.

The first movie leaves out a lot of details from the book. I don't think I could have followed the movie if I had not read the book. I can't wait to see the next two.

  29. Do you notice how Suri has her legs tucked into Katie's long jacket? She's cold!! And it's because she's wearing one of those ridiculous little $3,000 dresses again with Mary Jane shoes, without even a pair of tights!! IN WINTER! Other Scientologists wear pants, why can't Suri?! She wouldn't be cold and have to be held if her PARENTS would dress her properly. Just look at the other people in the photo -- they're all wearing heavy winter clothes, and then here comes Suri again in a little frock. Oy! Katie, wake up!

(Sorry... seeing kids freezing in skimpy clothes while their parents are warmly dressed is my all time biggest pet peeve. I just want to go up and smack the parent upside their head!)

  30. Emer I agree. If *I* don't wear a coat it is because I am a grown up! My kids always wear coats when it is cold. uughh

Okay, gonna throw this out there.. does anyone else think that Suri is wearing a little kids fur coat?

I've said it before and I'll say it again -- I'll bet one miiiiillion dollars that Suri is the most unpleasant, bratty child in the universe. Her parents don't dress her. She picks out her own clothes, and since the crazy-ass Scientologists believe that children should be treated as small adults, whatever she wants to wear, she wears. At least this time she's wearing a coat. Last winter I saw eleventy billion photos of her swanning around NYC in a sundress and nothing else while everyone else was bundled up.
