Radio

Over the past few years I have done some radio programs as a guest and now the time has come where I, along with my second ex-wife Carli are going to have our very own radio show every Saturday. Yes, for two hours each week you can hear me coming to you live from my basement with my mom and my dad and celebrities and tabloid writers and all of you too. Whether it is calling in or being a guest, I want as many of you to take part as possible too. Although I am doing it for free and so is Carli, the thing is there are lots of other people who are going to be working on the show who can't afford to work for free.

At this point there is one radio station we will be using and they have live internet streaming so you will be able to listen anywhere in the world. We got a great deal on the two hours we are buying each week, but had to commit to two months upfront to get the rate we got. It is our hope that after that first two months we will be self sustaining but could use your help getting us off the ground and we would be happy to help you out by mentioning you or your product during those two months.

So, you will notice the donate button to the left and all of the people who are excited about the show would really appreciate your help with $1 or $5 or $10 or whatever you can do. The show is scheduled to kick off on February 26, which is the day before the Academy Awards. I hope you will join me every Saturday morning for bacon and pancakes and a whole lot of fun. So, for this week, leading up to the big game, I am hoping you will be able to help out. It is just a one week thing. As February 26th gets closer, I will give you more details about what station and what time.

forgot to say...i am surprised that you did not give us readers notice when you were "guesting" on other shows.

i'm sure us readers would have loved to listen.

  8. He did, at least once. I'm glad you're getting this off the ground. Hopefully, the radio show will have as much flow to it as the blog does.

  9. Yes!!! good for you! Finally, putting a voice to the post...it would be kind of weird at first but we'll get used to it. Now, one question...are you sure it will be available for all countries?

  23. Since the deal is set, it would be nice to get a link to the online stream for the radio station.

"Whether it is calling in or being a guest, I want as many of you to take part as possible too."

Also, I wouldn't mind being a guest or sitting in your audience. Getting to LA will not be a prob, nor having somewhere to stay.

awesome balla, yes it would whether or not he uses his real name. peeps in town already know who he is; however, it has been said he/she may no longer have a primary job anymore.
why give up a semi-lucrative job, when it could have financed this cause?

  25. This is so exciting!

I don't think Enty's voice is distinctive enough that people could easily figure out who he is. It's a great voice, though, very strong and confident. He's going to be nice to listen to.

I'm so glad he's finally going public. Every time someone expressed doubts that Enty was a man, I wanted to tell them about his previous radio appearances, but I got the idea they were supposed to be somewhat secret, so I kept my mouth shut.

I am also excited that Carli is going to be involved. I loved her posts, and have always wished she would write more. She's very clever and fun.

  26. Congrats Enty! Break a leg! PLEASE don't forget to give us the link.

  27. Oh, and Enty, I hope you're going to have guest stars on the show - we want to hear more from people who have contributed to the blog in the past! If you don't at least have America on, I'm going to be very pissed at you! ;)

  28. I am looking forward to this - a reason to get up before noon on Saturdays! :)

  29. now if we can just get me on a radio show at the same time, people might actually believe we aren't the same person.

  30. LOL, I was just going to suggest having Jax and Gladys Kravitz on as a guest! Remember DNfromMN? He used to do film reviews, too. I wonder what happened to him. He was a great poster.

    ReplyDelete
  31. and Mooshki! we need a 4 way :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yay!! Congrats, will try to give...

    ReplyDelete
  33. Shakey, I think DN hangs out at ONTD these days.

    ReplyDelete
  34. LOL @ Shakey. But Enty, Jax and I can't be on a radio show together! Silly girl. We're the same person.

why would enty's previous radio experience be a secret? that's stupid. everyone knows that success in any endeavor relies on marketing/advertising. so it would have been absolutely stupid to not mention this.

this blog and a radio show are two different things. it is obvious that there are DIFFERENT writers for this blog (outside of when noted). it's not one person.

if you want the radio show to be a hit, i suggest you market/advertise well or it will fail.

your lucrative job as an ENTERTAINMENT lawyer should come in handy to finance this.

  36. I think this post might be funnier than the one with all the arguing in it, but I'm not sure.

  38. I guess I'm not as dumb as some of you think. Oh sorry, idiot.
