Hilarious.

  1. I found this entire show not funny. Really expected more out of Jim Carrey/SNL cast.

  2. I was actually home on a Saturday night and caught this show...it still REEKS! What has it been? At least a decade since it was kind of funny?

I barely smirked at the sketches.

  3. So glad I'm not the only one that didn't think this was funny. Thanks!

  4. Not funny, but I dislike Carrey so I might be biased.

  5. SNL hasn't been funny for several decades (for real)

  6. I always forget this show still exists.

I couldn't watch the clip, but I still second Cheryl.

  8. I'm actually a fan of the show who catches it most weeks and I fell asleep shortly after the Black Swan skit. One would think a Carrey hosted SNL would be ELECTRIC, but I'll never know. Unless I watch it On Demand.

  9. I saw another skit and it was mildly amusing till Carey joined in. Then it was unwatchable.

That's what I thought too. I was wrong. The Black Keys were good, but I expected that.

Not even Jim Carrey can save this wreck. I'm not even sure Mike Myers can.

  11. I was expecting more from Jim too but what can he do with bad material? Usually Weekend Update with my boyfriend Seth Meyers makes me laugh but I didn't crack a smile at all.

The Black Keys were good though!

  12. We live in a humorless time. EVeryone is poor and we aren't laughing. Well, a Sarah Palin NRA suicide skit may make me chuckle...

    I jest, I jest....

I thought it was funny. It was not hilarious but it had me giggling lol.

  15. They blew their load on Betty White.

Jim was ok, felt like I was watching an old episode of In Living Color with him doing all his impressions at once.

  16. @timebob-This skit is basically Jim doing Vera De Milo.

  17. it wasnt horrible- i kind of chuckled when they showed the buffalo wings on his back, as opposed to swam wings.
as long as you go in knowing you will probably never reach a height past midly amused its a reasonably entertaining show.
the only thing that really nails-on-a-scratch-board bugs me is when their skits go an extra 1-4 or 5 minutes over an already pretty limp skit. Then its just irksome.
But I enjoy Carrey and certainly would rather see him than fraken Gweneth Paltrow- who will be hosting next week. ughhhh

  18. The skit was sometimes hysterical, sometimes unfunny. I haven't seen the Black swan though.

I'm not a fan of Jim Carrey, but I am of SNL.

  20. My kids and I had a great time laughing at parts of this skit, but it was a bit uneven. I was impressed that two generations could sit down together and actually find some humor in the same skit!

  21. how is this funny? is it because a man is dressed like a ballerina? is it because he makes stupid faces and gestures?

this is one step above "ow, my balls" from idiocracy.

  22. We get it Jim -- you have a large mouth and overly expressive facial features. Maybe still funny for the 13 year old male demographic but I'm thinking the large majority of adults are over it.

  23. This particular sketch wasn't that funny, but I had a couple of chuckles throughout the show.

    "Namaste"
    "Yeah, it IS nasty!!!"
