Jail For Sex Tape

I just figured out how to stop celebrities from releasing sex tapes every five minutes. Do what Indonesia does. They just threw one of their biggest pop stars in jail for the next three and half years because he made some sex tapes which found their way to the internet. Nazril "Ariel" Irham was sentenced after some sex tapes he made were distributed to the internet. He claims they were stolen from his house and that the shame of having them seen in public should have been enough punishment. Were any with Paris because that would be shameful. Heck they should give him an award for having sex with her if he did.

He could have been sentence to 12 years in jail, but the judge said 31/2 was long enough. Even though the tapes were stolen, the judge said the star did not try hard enough to have the distribution stopped. The first tape showed him with his girlfriend who is a famous model in Indonesia named Luna Maya. The second tape showed him with another woman who was not his girlfriend who is a television presenter named Cut Tari. Apparently the girlfriend did not mind that he filmed his cheating because she was in court supporting her boyfriend. The guy who actually distributed the tapes only got two years in jail.

This all seems harsh for just having sex and filming it. I mean as soon as the video camera was invented you know people made tapes. As soon as the internet was invented you know the tapes were going to make their way to the internet. It is kind of like you know that I have made tapes of myself eating various different kinds of bacon. You just can't give a man a video camera and bacon and not expect me to combine the two.

  1. As long as the tapes of bacon eating did not affect the lives of small little baby pigs I wouldn't have a problem. With more and more underage women being sold into the sex trade this should be more of a problem in this country. The idea that Hef, for example, would marry someone in their 20's and he wouldn't be vilified by the entire public speaks volumes about the state of child safety here. It's time for folks to grow up and take some personal responsibility. I'm good with 3 1/2 years.

  2. Wtf? So it's a crime to film yourself having sex? Or just the distribution part? Because if it's distribution, why did the pop star get more jail time than the actual distributor? This makes no sense.
That said, throw Paris and Kim in jail.

  3. I don't get it. He seems more like a victim. If he wasn't with someone under their legal age of consent, what's the big deal?

    Just think if they jailed
whore-trashian, Parisite, Kendra, and allll of the others for sex tape releases. then we would not hear from them again!

...Or at least fined them a bunch of $$$$$$$$$$$ and gave it to some charity?

  5. If the women were of legal age, and consented to be filmed (not secretly filmed, which is a crime), I see no issues.

  6. Indonesia is a Muslim country. Frankly they were lucky not to be stoned to death.

  7. The issue is Theocracy vs Democracy.
Daveb has hit the nail on the head - I'll be very suprised if the women have careers after this if they weren't jailed also.

  8. First poster, did I miss something? Where did it say that the participants were underaged? And as much as I think Hef is a disgusting perv, 20 years old is old enough to make your own decisions. This isn't a child safety issue at all.

That's a bizarre connection, as if you think all porn inevitably harms children.

  10. also while I respect all religions blah blah blah this is just another example of how extreme organized religion can ruin lives.
this sentencing is ridiculous and i just remain awestruck that this type of archaic shit can still go down in 2011.
    appalling

  12. As someone said upthread, this guy seemed to be a victim in this case, and was punished because he didn't try hard enough to stop the release of the tapes. Not sure who the judges in this case are, but they obviously know nothing about the internet. Once something it out on the web, you have ZERO control over it.

  13. I wish Shauna Sands lived in Indonesia so her ass could be thrown in jail, too. Some things my eyes cannot unsee.
