Flavor Flav Opens A Fried Chicken Place
It is not really that surprising that Flavor Flav opened a restaurant. I mean lots of celebrities think they can make money at a place and of course they want to be able to eat for free, especially when they are visiting Clinton, Iowa. Yes, for some reason, Flavor opened his brand new restaurant in Clinton, Iowa. Also probably going against all good advice he opened it right next door to a KFC.
Nothing against Clinton, Iowa, but it just does not exactly seem like the place Flavor Flav probably envisioned when he was thinking of opening a place. One thing is for sure though, I bet he wears the most clocks out of anyone in the town. As for the food, Flavor says it will knock your taste buds out of the house. So, if you are ever in Clinton, Iowa, stop by Flav's place.
that picture actually made me a little nauseous.
ReplyDeletehmm...from the huffington post, he partnered with a man who owes another restaurant out in Nevada. i hope this works out for him financially. he's got tons of kids to help.
ReplyDeletewhere i live, there is a zaxby's (chicken place) across the street from a chick-fil-a. they only serve chicken, but offer different menu items. they both stay packed.
ReplyDelete*bets at least 83 of his kids will work there during summer break*
ReplyDeleteno way in hell i would eat there. he is so gross.
ReplyDeleteIf his chickens aren't tourtured - then I would check it out. In York, PA there is a fantasic rib place - and knowing what York is like - why would anyone open a business there - but that guy is doing just fine.
ReplyDeleteOMG thank Jah I already ate lunch b/c that was one OOOGLY photo there, Enty!
ReplyDeleteYeesh. Imagining kissing that mouf.
That said, I will eat any and all fried chicken. Even the greasiest overly-spiced, or the most bland and overcooked. Even the chicken I fry myself that is not always so great. Does. Not. Matter!
So best of luck and I wish him success!
Flav should concentrate on his dental hygiene, not fried chicken.
ReplyDeleteMost of my family is in Clinton, IA, and I'm not kidding when I say that they are very excited that their little town was chosen! Knowing that area, it might be a good thing for him & it will definitely be good for the city, at least for the first month. There are casino's & there is a lot of diversity & kids into rap, hip-hop, etc. Next door to KFC is also a good choice in terms of traffic. The Quad Cities (30 minutes away) probably would have been a better target market, but Clinton's cheaper & could use the publicity. A lot of great people there along that little Mississippi River town - and yes, I'm biased!
ReplyDeleteI'm oddly intrigued by this.
ReplyDeleteAnd like Selena, I will gladly eat almost any fried chicken put in front of me.
If grape drink & Newports are provided, it's like a holiday for me.
Roseanna and tom arnolds loose meat sandwich venture went belly up in iowa
ReplyDeleteClocks? I am confused. Again.
ReplyDeletewhat is that thing in the corner of his mouth? WTF is that? It is olive green!
ReplyDelete@chihuahuense - Blech!!! What is that???
ReplyDeleteMaybe Flavor Flav's place is more upscale. Fancy fried chicken.
OT: The only "soul food" joint we had in town just closed down. Supposedly Gladys Knight was going to be opening a Chicken & Waffles restaurant here....sigh. And now I'm starving.
Carrie L. I'm just south of the Quad Cities in Muscatine IA. :) And I would gladly drive the distance just to say I have eaten there. I mean, it's fried chicken!
ReplyDelete@chihuahuense & MCH Ugh...I think it's an extra tooth, a rotten extra tooth.
ReplyDelete@chihuahuense/MCH: that's what I'm talking about!
ReplyDelete@Robert, Oh! I thought you were talking about the overall grossness, not that one olive-tooth! EEEEEK!
ReplyDeleteEverytime I see him, I wonder about his breath. Gross.
