Blind Items Revealed

July 19, 2010

This A list couple, which consists of a B list movie actor who used to be A++ and his B- list movie actress wife have a secret for keeping young. Or at least they think it does. Apparently they buy in bulk, botox in a bottle. The bottles which cost $600, are meant to last a year, but are used by the couple at the rate of about one a week.

Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes

  1. It ain't workin' on Katie. She looks OLD most of the time.

  2. Hahahhahaaha
    Of course.

  3. that explains the distinctly plasticine look about the two of them lately.

  4. Katie should not be using this much botox or have to use botox in general at her age. It's called time for divorce.

  5. Congrats to Adventurous Kate for being the first correct guess!

  6. That is truly horrifying. People - there is really nothing wrong with aging gracefully. One day, all that Botox is going to wear off and if you can't get your hands on more I bet you age about 50 years overnight.

  7. Botox in a bottle? Actual botox, or a product that is like botox in a bottle? No one uses that much botox, so it can't be actual botox. This makes no sense to me.

  8. they both look bedraggled all the time, so step AWAY from the needles.

  9. JFK still had a more than a year to go in his presidency when Tom Cruise was born. SOMETHING is working for Tom (if not his wife).

  10. That stuff is a neurotoxin. I can't even fathom what that much Botox could do to you. Ick!

  11. Botox has an expiration date- would not keep a year.

Their faces don't look frozen, just old, so I call bullshit on this item.

  12. wtf! how is that even possible? are they having cos friends over for a freeze you face/ tell us your darkest secrets so we can blackmail you party?? i cant imagine how they are going through so much of the stuff. are they tweaking suri???? her crows feet are less noticeable these days...

  13. doesnt tom's family live with them? its probably going to the mom and sisters and aunts and uncles and cousins too. he is a botox pusher! at least he has something to fall back on.....

  14. botox is poison. Let's see what happens to them in a few years.

  15. A few years ago Tom was photograph hanging out in Brazil in a famed plastic surgeon's residential retreat. It's said that the doctor's retreat contains a small med facility. LOL.

  16. I agree that it would literally be impossible to use that much botox. It lasts a couple months I think so you would not be freezing your face every week.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Wait, aren't Scientologists the ones that don't believe in taking any kind of "medicine"? Wouldn't this fall in the same category?

    ReplyDelete
  18. when I have done Botox, it last 6 months. There is no reason to use it every week.

It is fabulous, btw. Most people I know who do it look great. i don't know why these Hollywood people look like freaks. Their doctors must suck.

  19. Katie DEFINATELY doesn't look like she uses botox. I bet they share make-up, clothes etc too. Even though i reckon toms to girly for katies taste

    ReplyDelete
  20. Exactly, Rose! Unless the start injecting it in new spots all the time this doesn't make any sense.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I wonder at what point they'll get Suri started on it...

    ReplyDelete
  22. i seriously think they are sharing it with family and friends. and i bet they are botoxing things like underarms and feet so that they dont sweat

    ReplyDelete
  23. Katie has to use botox to keep her face frozen so the world won't see the look of horror and revulsion on her face when she looks at tommygirl

    ReplyDelete
  24. I would have thought Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman...he lost his hot the second he hooked up with her, and well, Granny Freeze has but one expression--if she times it right it could get her another oscar.

  25. as for katie, botox could be just another prison. she trying to scream for help but her damn face cant move

  26. maybe its something kidman learned from tom

    ^ amen.

  28. Yup I agree it's just not working

    ReplyDelete
  29. well Katie's face looks tired so I don't think botox is doing anything for her. I agree with moxy about other applications, to keep them from sweating under their arms, that I'll believe.

  30. Maybe they're just mules for Nicole.

  31. Botox costs a lot more than $600 & "Botox in a bottle" suggests some vitamin/natural supplement. Sci's are heavy into vitamins to 'cure' everything.

No contraversy here really, when we realize it's just vitamins. Tom+Kate+Vitamins....yawn.

  32. Ha! Good luck with the long term effects there, Cruises.

  33. Agree with parissucksliterally. I use botox about every 5-6 months, just in my forehead. VERY little - certainly not $600 worth. You don't need very much, unless you want to look like Nicole Kidman on a bad day. Just a little a couple times a year keeps the wrinkles from setting in (and stops me from getting migraines) but you can still move your face just fine. How could anyone use that much = it's just not needed.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Sounds very dangerous to shoot that much Botox into your face on a regular basis. I can't imagine what that will do to them in the long-term. Tom and Katie are crazy enough already, they don't need the extra help!

And yes, Katie is much too young to need that much Botox, or any Botox at all, probably. I'm not against the stuff, but I do think it's silly when people who clearly do not need it, use it.

  35. weird! i understand Cruise looks better now

  36. "Botox in a Bottle" is a cosmetic treatment cream, not actual Botox. Most high-end cosmetic companies have a product that is touted as "like Botox in a bottle". These products all start at the low end of $150/bottle on up. They're supposed to lift your skin and diminish lines and creases temporarily and you're supposed to dab it pretty sparingly throughout the day. They have peptides and all other manner of natural and "scientific" stuff.

Tom Cruise has been looking younger and younger that's for sure ! Katie not so much ! But she's only about 32 isn't she? Maybe Tom tweaks himself with a little bit here, a little bit there ! I love Botox ! Wonder if Tom would send me a few bottles so I can do it myself !

  38. why do some people get so wrapped up if the reveals are real or made-up? aren't we here for the entertainment of it all?

great job enty! this is fun.

  40. Hunter: How much does a treatment cost?

    Sandman: Fuck off.

Topic: I'm always astounded by the vast quantities of prescription drugs (e.g., Vicodin) that an addict can put down in a day -- I guess it's within the realm of possibility that someone is abusing Botox on that scale. Whether it's actually doing anything for the abuser is another question, however ...

  41. Sunnyhorse -

I get a fairly small amount, usually between $450 and $550 worth every 5-6 months. (Really does help w/the migraines.) But ALWAYS given by either a doctor, preferably a dermatologist or dermatological nurse (I've found some docs, plastic surgeons in particular, tend to try and give more than I want). NEVER go somewhere that's just an off the street clinic, even if it is cheaper. They need to know exactly where in the muscles to inject it. It doesn't really hurt and only takes fifteen min to at most a half hour. Swelling gone in an hour or so. RARELY they will hit a vein and you will get a tiny bruise easily covered by makeup that will fade in a couple days. Oh, I tried it for under eye wrinkles once and it DID give me that Kidman freeze look (when I smiled my cheeks wouldn't move - someone asked me if I'd had a face lift!!) for a couple months so never, ever again. I have learned to love my smile lines.
