With Beatles and iTunes billboards everywhere around town, it got me to thinking, what is your favorite Beatles song? Or do you even care that Apple finally got permission to sell their songs?
I don't know if I could pick just one favorite, but my top 10 are...

Huge Beatles' fan, and I couldn't even come close to chosing one favorite, but a couple that spring immediately to mind are Happiness is a Warm Gun, Lady Madonna, While My Guitar Gently Weeps and side 2 of Abbey Road.
and I hate to admit it, but I love You Won't See Me. Mostly because it reminds me of a fun summer. I didn't even know it was the Beatles.....me --> clueless!
However I've got a spot in my heart for "I Want To Hold Your Hand" because it was the very first conversation I ever had with a girl about sex when my pretty next door neighbor explained to me that the song wasn't about holding hands.
My favorites change depending on my mood. In college I slow danced with a cute guy to And I Love Her.....Bright are the stars that shine, dark is the sky, I know this love of mine, will never die....Damn John and Paul could write, but cute guy and me were not to be.
Too many to list. But I downloaded their music a long time ago. I usually pay for all my music, but if they aren't going to provide a legal option for me, then fuck 'em. This kind of manipulation of the market pisses me off.

Even though I already own all of this, I'm thrilled it's on iTunes. A friend's hubby is a big cheese there, and I was excited to know before it was announced.

I love the Beatles. I grew up watching their movies when I was little. Love love love. I can never decide, but I do love me some Here Comes the Sun, I've Just Seen a Face, Sgt. Pepper's, She Came in Through the Bathroom Window ...
Never been a huge Beatles fan, but I don't mind them. I pretty much like the Sgt. Pepper's songs (am I big dork because I actually like the movie with the BeeGee's and had the soundtrack?). The Long and Winding Road and Strawberry Fields Forever are probably my favorites if I have to pick.

Anyone here seen Across The Universe? That movie made me realize how timeless the Beatles' tunes are, even the ones from the really early days. Heartily recommend.

I think one of my favorite memories was when I played Beatles Rock Band with my parents--it was a lot of fun.
Top fav is "Julia." And hearing John Lennon sing "Twist and Shout" is always a pleasure. Also, "Here, There and Everywhere." And "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," and a lot more.
I always said I'd never marry unless the guy had all the Beatles albums. I was wrong on both counts. But now I can get them on iTunes, so I'm happy.

I too don't care about itunes. I don't even own an ipod or a personal mp3 player. There is no way to choose. Depends on my mood. My mother had all of the early Beatle albums, and I basically grew up listening to them. My husband and I both joke that we have succeeded as parents by having two teenagers that LOVE the Beatles as much as we do. And I still pull pot my albums to stare at them.
Dear Lord, I love The Beatles, and remember crying when I heard John Lennon died. I love your guyses (yeah, I know) lists! My favorite Beatles song is "Hey Jude". Who'da thunk that a repetitive song would be so catchy and never get boring? Plus there's a heartwarming story behind it. My square mom (who thought Elvis was vulgar) used to play Beatles tunes on her guitar. They are the undisputed, greatest Rock 'n Roll band ever, IMO. Most bands go from hard core to mellow. The Beatles were relatively mellow and went hardcore.
I really can't make a list - "The White Album" was phenomenal and got me through a large part of my teenage angst. Then there's "Abbey Road" with all the medleys when they were breaking up. And the psychedelic, "Revolver" - Tomorrow Never Knows, incredible bass on Taxman. No, I cannot make a top ten list. After "Hey Jude", I'm torn.
Eleanor Rigby, Hey Jude, When I'm 64...I am in love with every Beatles song though, and I love that I caught my son rocking out to them when he was about 1 year on camera without knowing that I was taping him.
They make me so happy that I cry when I hear them. But a lot of music does that to me. What can I say, I'm a freak.
I am sitting here looking at my framed copies of four of their album covers: With the Beatles, Rubber Soul, Abby Road and Beatles for Sale. Love them.
it is hard to pick just one but if I have to I will say Blackbird. Or norweigan Wood.. No Blackbird thats my favorite. When I was in college i lived on a coed wing and we were like one big family. Almost every night 2 of the guys would play blackbird and sing it as we were all getting ready for bed or trying to fall asleep. Yes you could hear it on the whole floor. Ahhh good times. Definitely Blackbird

I was about 10 when I first heard Abbey Road--I sang along with the whole thing but especially loved "Maxwell's Silver Hammer." I liked the childish sound of the tune that contrasted with the horror of the lyrics. I consider the song my introduction to irony and cynicism.
My dad was a huge Beatles fan - in fact, he pretty much only liked the Beatles *L*. He became very ill with cancer and towards the end of his life, when he was all zonked out on painkillers and seemed nervous and confused, my mom would play a Beatles record and it calmed him down, he would even sit up and tap his foot a little to the music. Maybe it would have worked with any music, but the Beatles were really special to him. At his funeral, a friend played "Yesterday" and "I'll Follow The Sun".
