Today's Blind Items

This A list designer who really should be considered F list for his contributions to the horrible fashion he has produced in the past few years is not a very friendly customer.

Recently while shopping at an Abercrombie & Fitch, our designer decided to shop in his own way. What that means is that he would take pile after pile of clothing from the places where they were neatly placed and dump them at the checkout stand and demanding that the worker find the size zeroes. Yes, instead of going through the neatly organized stacks and finding the right size himself, he destroyed every stack of clothing he touched which were numerous. Our designer basically trashed the entire women's section of clothes. Now someone needs to go to his stores and do the same thing.

  6. Audigier or Dov Charney.

  7. It would be funny if it was Karl Lagerfeld, but I couldn't see him entering an Abercrombie & Fitch let alone shop for himself. LOL.

  8. Oh my god I would kill Christian Audinger! Not only because of his sartorial abominations he calls fashion, but I also worked in retail for the past two years and I hate that kind of behavior. Want the scoop? No, the customers aren't always right; sometimes they're just entitled pricks.

  9. You want a Christian Audigier story?

When Michael Jackson died, Audigier was all over the place to speak about his special bond with Jackson, how he planned to buy his house to make a museum and stuff like that.

Where was Audigier at the funeral? He was a guest commenter at the ceremony for French television, on the second channel that broadcast it (they had bigger names on the first one). So, you had basically the guy talking about himself (as there were delays and lots of dead air to fill) and how much Jackson loved him, while he didn't even get an invitation at the actual ceremony where there were twenty thousand guests...
Audigier paid Jackson $1m for him to appear at this birthday and that's it. I'm no Jackson fan but I feel it quite sad for him that he had to spend most of his life surrounded by awful guys like that.

  10. Shakey - LOL! I was thinking it'd be funny if it were Karl Lagerfield, too, but there is no way he'd be in such a store!

Totally the Ed Hardy guy! I wouldn't even know the name "Ed Hardy" if it weren't for Jon Gosselin which definitely fits the "F" list! :)

  14. OT: Reese Witherspoon is engaged. Good for her - they seem really happy together.

  15. ^I just saw that! Good for her!

Ed Hardy is the tackiest stuff I have ever seen. I almost fell out when I saw a bunch of his stuff in my well meaning friend's closet. I would not pay a dime for any of that crap.

  16. I'm going out on a limb and saying Marc Jacobs, who has been out of control for a while and has not really designed anything that didn't appear in a Sears catalog in 1973.

  17. Yes, I'm happy for Reese too. But it's surprising that she dated Jake for all those years and she's already engaged to this guy. hmmm. LOL!

  18. Funny...that's who I thought too even though I didn't know his name. One word: DOUCHEBAG!

  19. Audigier is also responsible for Von Dutch.

  20. @Biterella- Perhaps you should learn more about fashion before trashing those who make a living designing our clothes... I am pretty sure that the Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 collection doesn't look like anything in a 1960s Sears catelog... and Marc Jacobs does design that as well as his eponymous line and the lower priced Marc by Marc Jacobs line, both of which I will admit do have some 50s/early 60s-esque throwback aspects but are certainly of a lot higher quality in terms of workmanship than the Sears catelog ilk. I have no idea about him being "out of control for a while", I know he has had serious drug problems in the past but seeing as he and I aren't friends I couldn't confirm that is ongoing, but I do think your comment is a tad on the ignorant side when it comes to actual fashion.

And this blind is most obviously about the guy who does the godawful Ed Hardy sh*t. I'm not going to mention him by name or as a "designer" because I don't think he deserves to be called that!

  21. Goodness gracious, such huffiness over a comment on a blind item, and rather pointless considering the blind is about a trashy designer. You may love Marc Jacobs, but I think his stuff is crap, so you can save the pompous indignation for someone who cares what you think.

  22. Bitterella knows nothing about fashion, prolly doesn't even know who Marc Jacobs is and doesn't even watch fashion shows and stuff LOL
