Today's Blind Items

This A+ list director with A list name recognition has always been a little out there. It seems that he goes through women very quickly. The reason? He has a foot fetish that is way over the top and most women run fast fast away as soon as he tells them what he wants to do.

  1. Quentin Tarantino

  2. Come on. That's GOTTA be Tarantino.

  3. quentin...you can't trust those nerdy-looking ones. there's always a freak factor.

  4. Agreed. Tarantino FTW.

  5. Tarantino seems too easy so just to mix things up, Brett Ratner or Michael Bay?

    ReplyDelete
  6. I agree with the Quentin guess. Wasn't it fairly widly known he had a thing for Uma's feet during filming of Pulp Fiction?

  7. Gotta be Tarantino but lets throw James Cameron in the mix.

  8. tarantino! he's known to be a foot fetish

  9. It's so Quentin Tarantino. Which, in the grand scheme of things, isn't all that big of a deal.

  10. Quinten Tarantino. There is no doubt in my mind. I HATE feet so I can't help but notice that he always includes an up-close shot of women's feet in EVERY one of his movies. Don't believe me? Watch any of one his movies tonight and prove me wrong.

There's even a disturbing scene in "Death Proof" where Kurt Russell puts his face in one of the unwitting and unfortunate woman's foot. OK, now I'm going to have nightmares tonight.

  11. A little out there definitely describes Tarantino. Gots to be him.

  12. Keep this on the QT.

  13. Tarantino for sure, there is a bunch of shots of Uma Thurman's feet in Kill Bill

  14. Tarantino and everyone knows that he's got a raging foot fetish. He's blatant about it. Every movie he's done since Pulp Fiction has had multiple shots of women's bare feet.

This blind is about as obvious as a mushroom cloud.

  15. Its no secret that Tarantino has a foot fetish. Why is this a blind?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Even if it isn't Tarantino, he just needs to find that someone who will trade him the foot thing for their own freaky thing.

  17. Just to be different Tim Burton? the 'run fast fast away' could be something to do with alice in wonderland, him and his wife live in seperate houses..its possible

  18. Thought of Tarantino before I even finished reading. And unless what he tells women he wants to do is really REALLY out there, I don't have a problem with this. If feet are cared for, I think they can be kinda sexy...

Speaking of Bay & Ratner, I seem to remember a BI about a couple of directors who kept some sort of info on a laptop and someone took off with it and they were the common guess. This ringing a bell with anyone else who can refresh my memory? I'm too lazy to look it up.

  19. So what could be so bad that he is asking you to do with your feet? My feet are pretty far away from the rest of me. I don't mind. I am having a hard time thinking of anything THAT gross. Am I just not very out there? Perhaps Margaret Cho would tell me?

  20. It's totally Tarantino...

  21. why do people suggest other answers when the right one is so obvious??

  22. As far as what he could be asking for, my guess is that he quite literally wants to fuck their feet. Yes, it can be done--if you put your feet together, whether it be sole to sole or next to each other, there's some room between the arches, or perhaps between some of the toes. (No, I don't do any of this--I just happen to know some kinky folk.) While technically it's harmless, I have to admit it would kind of squick me...but then again, I have ugly feet anyway. :-)

  23. I remember at the beginning of Pulp Fiction there's that whole foot massage conversation, then the first time we meet Uma there's a lengthy shot of her feet (which, as supremely gorgeous as she is, are what my dad would call "real gunboats"). At the time I thought it was kind of a brilliant way of shooting it; now it seems kind of creepy. Still, I'd take Tatantino stuff over Mayer stuff any day.

  24. John Cusack allegedly is an armpit poker. I'd like to find out who the up-and-coming director is who allegedly brands his women's breasts with love bites.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Bummer. I think he's hot. My feet? Not so pretty...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Oh yeah, that's Quentin all right!

  27. @Karmen. You sounded like RHNJ's Danielle Staub there for a minute.

  28. Tarantino. Remember the foot scene in 'Kill Bill'. And I'm guessing he is in love with Uma's feet. Well, I'd thought that upon reading the blind, but someone else posted it here first.

  29. Maybe it's a blind because it's not about QT. Too obvious!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I actually know someone who dated Quentin Tarantino, and she was with him for awhile, so I don't know that it's him

    ReplyDelete
  31. I call BS on women running away from an A-list director--unless he's trying to seduce nuns, or wants them to walk in poop or vomit then over his chest or something. All the vile stuff we hear about folks in H'wood, a foot fetish is very small peanuts.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hadn't thought of Tarantino until you all mentioned him. My first thought on A-list director that's out there - David Lynch. Talk about out there!

I could imagine him being way into feet, though I could also imagine him liking mud wrestling or anything else for that matter. I don't think anything would shock me. I know he was married for a long while, but since the first divorce he's been married a few more times.

  33. I think a foot fetish, if that is all it is, is quite acceptable!

    Possibly sweet?

Cries out for an offbeat comedy script!

    ReplyDelete
  34. My first thought was David Lynch. Nobody's farther out there than Twin Peaks.

    ReplyDelete
  35. If it's not Tarantino, then there are two A-list directors with major foot fetishes.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Def Tarantino, Kathy Griffin has said in interviews that they dated and he has a weird foot fetish.

    ReplyDelete
  37. It's definitely Tarrantino, there was a roast of him recently that poked fun at his foot fetish, it's all over page six today.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I think this was definitively answered by the first item in today's Page Six:

Comedians at yesterday's Friars Club Roast of Quentin Tarantino mercilessly sent up the "Pulp Fiction" director's obsession with Uma Thurman and his fetish for women's feet.

    ReplyDelete
  39. It'd have to be something really painful or scatty for a little foot fetish to get in the way. Unless, you know, it's ALL the action he's offering.

On the other hand, I could stand a foot massage on a regular basis and a generous pedicure allowance.

    Anyone got his number?
