Margaret Cho Says Bristol Palin Was Forced To Do DWTS By Mom

Margaret Cho took to her blog this past weekend and said that Bristol Palin told Margaret that the only reason she was doing Dancing With The Stars was that her mom made her. Margaret says that Sarah Palin blamed Bristol for John McCain not winning the election and that Bristol owed to her mom so that America would like Bristol and thus Sarah again.

That is pretty interesting theory. It gets even more interesting when you hear the stories about how Todd Palin is going to be on next season. The producers are already trying to get him because of the huge increase in ratings that Bristol brought to the show. I guess that means in two seasons we will be seeing Willow.

  2. I definitely believe Sarah Palin is tryin to improve her image. There was a recent blind item about someone involved in politics tryin to get on Dancing so hard that they offered to pay the show to get on. The show was considering but afraid the show would become too political. The blind hinted at Bill Clinton but I now believe it is Todd Palin which explains why the show was concerned about the political aspect of this contender.

  3. The best think Sarah can do for her image is lay low for a while. Real low for a long while. There is such a thing as over-saturation and I think she has passed that point. Her life is starting to look like a circus parade.

  4. blame blame blame,it's never Sarah's complete lack of PR etiquette and knowledge of how a map or Library works at fault.

  5. Love Margaret Cho!!

  6. Maybe, maybe not. I'll be curious to see if anyone will back her up on this. Could just be Cho hatin' on Palin.

  7. I just read the post and Margaret doesn't say Bristol told her this. But a source very close to the inner Palin circle. So, Enty took some liberty or just assumed she was inferring Bristol is her source.

Margaret's post makes a lot of sense. But I am still hoping all this Sarah 2012 crap is just smoke to get her earnings up for apperances and all this is about is her making more money.

I can not, can not stand the thought of her as President making a mockery of our country and risking us getting invaded by China with all her dumb remarks.

  9. i can't really see Cho throw Bristol under the bus to hate on Sarah. She seems like she might have more compassion than that...or not.

  10. I suppose this means that hideous, detestable creature will never allow herself to be outside of the spotlight ever again, even if it means throwing her kids and hubby to the lions.

  11. Well then I officially quit that bitch (the show) forever cuz I could BARELY make it to the end of this last season. Talk about a mockery. I'd rather see no voting and just straight-up dancing competition.

  12. I am sad that we have never had a woman president, yet she might have the best chance at the oval office. I always said I would vote for any woman who ran. Now, I sadly have to renege.

The woman is frightening....and stupid...love the North Korea boo boo

  15. I believe her. I can't fathom Cho being upset because she lost. Bristol lost too.

  16. sunnyside1213 - that's exactly why McCain had Palin as his running mate. He thought all women would vote for him because he had a femal running mate. Please, next election, vote on the issues, not because of the gender.

  17. Palin makes for interesting debate/dialogue. However, she is not presidential material. Please note how any serious candidate behaves (either party) in the years in-between elections and now compare that to her behavior.

  18. Isn't Bristol and adult?

    ReplyDelete
  19. That must be pure hell being an adult and having a parent who can still manipulate you into doing things. Added to that blaming her kid for losing the election? If she truly believes that I don't know what to think.

If Todd gets on DWTS you can bet they will try to negotiate a ridiculous amount of money for it.

  20. @audrey, I always vote issues, but damn, it's time for a woman prez. However, that being said, I learned something about myself. I could never vote for Palin.

  21. Margaret said something like, "a person who really, really, really should know the intimate details" told her.

  22. I don't think Sarah Palin will run for office again. She's as money-hungry as she is fame-hungry, and she can make a ton of money on the speaking circuit and reality tv shows without having any of that bothersome responsibility that was so inconvienent as governor. As a perennial spokesperson/fundraiser she'll get to preach to her choir and let any old crap that pops into her head spew forth from her mouth without having to worry about facts or accuracy. I consider myself a moderate who leans slightly toward the Republican party and I detest this loathsome harpie. Surely, if I feel this way, there's no chance in hell she could ever be elected to a national office. Please, please, please let this be the case.

  23. @ Sunnyside - I'd love to have a woman president, too. Actually, I think the world would be a much better, less violent place if women ran things.

  24. RJ, I agree. Sarah P does not strike me as someone who wants the responsibility of a political office anymore.

  25. The first time I ever voted I checked every female name on the ballot.

    Those days are ovuh.

I won't support any candidate, black, white, latino, male, female, gay, lesbian, or transgendered, who doesn't not support a woman's right to choose.

  26. Don't hate on me but Todd Palin would not be hard on the eyes to watch, no matter how you feel about Sarah Palin. But it is a bit much to have had Bristol and now they are negotiating for Todd.

Also I am no Sarah Palin fan but I do find it annoying and incredibly hypocritical that people just overlook Joe Biden's idiotic mutterings which by now have a 5 to 1 ratio on Sarah's idiotic ramblings. People see Sarah bashing as perffectly ok but I love how people get really quiet when you point out what a huge moron Biden truly is. And of course people get all pouty when you just quietly point out that little inconsistency.

People have more to fear from Biden's inadequacies and the reality that he is second in line to command this county. Sarah is good for stirring people up but in the end would not have the real support she needs from her own party. They'd give her the rope to clothesline herself with.

  34. Genericuserprofile:

    Word to your entire post.

I find it fascinating how Sarah Palin really pushes so many people's buttons. She just entertains me, much like Biden.

I seriously doubt that Palin will run for Pres. She chose to quit running Alaska. IMO, if she was serious about her political future, she would have continued that job until it was finished. Plus, she's making boatloads of cash doing whatever it is she does now.

As for Cho's claims, it seems like this is just Cho's take on the situation. I suppose it could be true. Who knows? No doubt, Bristol was a huge ratings coup for ABC. I was floored that she kept making it through.

  35. Can totally see the first paragraph being true....

I am not going to be watching DWTS if Todd Palin is on.

Concur on the Joe Biden remarks @Genericuserprofile
I sometimes get the feeling that Obama thinks of him as an obnoxious drunk uncle who is constantly saying the wrong thing.

I initially liked Palin. For the first week she was announced as the running mate. Then I started hearing her speak. No, thank you!

I am all for a woman President but she does not have what it takes.

    ReplyDelete
  36. The only positive thing I can say about Palin is that she was fodder for some really great impressions by Tina Fey during the weeks prior to the election. That was some good stuff.

  38. We are fascinated with Bristol because we are starting to see a crack in the facade. I don't doubt for a second that there is tape somewhere of Sarah giving Bristol the beat down because McCain lost. I hate Sarah Palin with the intensity of, you guessed it, a thousand suns....but I like Bristol. Not sure why, but I do.

I like Joe Biden, too. Haters to the right, thank you.
