Jen Pays For Vacation - Chelsea Slams Angelina

Considering that anyone without cable probably has no idea who Chelsea Handler is, the past two weeks have been a pretty good publicity boost for her. After not really getting anywhere by making out and groping 50 Cent, Chelsea accepted an offer from Jennifer Aniston to hang out in Mexico during Thanksgiving. All at Jen's expense of course. So, Chelsea got pictures of herself in her bikini next to Jen and her bikini and Chelsea got more attention than she ever has before. So, she had to repay Jen for that of course and get publicity. Hmm, how to do that? Well, over the weekend, Chelsea used her stand up routine to call Angelina Jolie a homewrecking b**ch and for good measure said the reason Angelina does not have any female friends is because she is a c**t.

  1. Whatever Chelsea. Go do another line. Could she be any more transparent?

  2. For me, being a "cunt" is something I look for in a friend.

  3. um chelse, pot meet kettle. You did the same thing with Ted Harbert CEO of Comcast who runs that little channel you work on E!.

Um, wasn't he married to when you started banging him. What.a.hypocrite.

But I guess to keep getting cast in Jen A. movies you gotta keep fronting for the girl.

  4. Not a fan of Chelsea, but this was excellent.

  5. Very unfortunate, but really the ass here is Jen Aniston STILL talking about Angelina to her "pay-for-friends". Let us not forget Jennifer that Brad willingly left like, um, 5 years ago. Get over it and get a freaking life.

  6. She is so not funny anymore.

  7. Dear Sue Ellen Mishky, I have always appreciated your input here on various topics, but today, I bow to you. You are my hero. Best comment ever.
I think we will be good friends in the end. ;)

  8. You guys are funny. Plus thanks to whomever recommended that thinly veiled novel about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston called Still Holding by Bruce Wagner. I'm reading it now.

  9. SOmething is a lil suspect about Jen Aniston who choses to hang out with unsavory people like Chelsea and JohnMayer. While Jen is a definite pothead, I cant imagine what she has in common with the likes of Chelsea and Mayer, other than pot.

I don't do too sweet, you can throw up from that stuff.

  11. Love it. Jen harping on her break-up has boosted her career and now it's boosting her friend's career. It's almost like a contact high. Why bother going on DWTS to become relevant when you can talk shit that didn't happen to you? Best part? It's so original and fresh!

  12. Oh man....I'm no fan of Angie...but enough already.....
However, have you seen the photo's of the twins....Lainey has a bunch of the family in New York...I live in a building crawling with babies...
Something is just not right there...one looks a little more alert than the other...but something is very wrong...
    Has anyone heard anything ?

  13. I'm not a fan of either Ang or Jen, but I can totally see Jen trashing Ang while in Mexico.

Chelsea is one train wreck I'm looking forward to.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I read Still Holding and hated most of it. Has something to do with the writing style.

    ReplyDelete
  15. so the homewrecker is calling out the homewrecker?

    sit down, chelsea.

  16. MISCH - funny you bring that up. I'd been thinking the same thing ever since I saw the twins. They look like they have fetal alcohol syndrome, though Angie isn't that big a drinker, is she? I know that isn't nice to say, but I've been around babies with FAS and that's the first thing I thought when I saw the twins. :(

I have nothing against Chelsea, and am not a huge fan of Jolie's, but that was pretty tasteless. It also makes Jennifer look bad because Chelsea was recently hanging with her and it makes you think she still has issues with a breakup that happened many years ago, which is sad. Then again, how many of us have to watch our exes paraded all over the news with a woman as beautiful as Jolie? I mean, that would probably sting a bit.

alot of the other blogs have been hinting at something being wrong with the twins and hope not its not, or its just brad and angelina dont make cute kids shiloh is average IMO

    ReplyDelete
  19. MISCH, I agree, there looks to be something going on with the twin in the white hat. Looks like the child may have hydrocephalus and/or a genetic syndrome. The good news is that the child does not seem floppy or spastic, appears to have head and trunk control, and can grasp the toy.

    Just my .02.

  20. @MISCH, I agree. Something seems off with Vivianne. It could be bad angle/picture. But they all seem that way.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I think Angie's kids all suffer from voightism which is the the condition caused by being Jon Voight's grandchild.

  22. fuck chelsea and not even for this.

anyone watch her show this week where she allowed 3 male comedians to go on for about 3 ins about homeless people smelling like shit,no wonder no one wants to give money to you,if i throw a 20 in front of you don't give me change i don't want to fucking touch you etc.

    it was absolutely disgusting.

  23. ha! looserdude ftw

    ReplyDelete
  24. Really not a fan of either - cannot stand Angelina and I do think she's a hobag ! BUT, let it go and move on for goodness sake !

    ReplyDelete
  25. and I am ambivalent about the whole brad/jen/angie thing- Im not that invested in the lives of celebs where my emotions get involved-
but I thought Chelea's bit was funny. But maybe thats just because I like whenever any female commediane says cunt. Were taking that word back- one biligerant comic at a time!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Re the babies.....Doesn't Ted C. accuse Ange of using the "Mystery Diet" and isn't that supposed to be heroin? Or am I thinking of another star?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'm super uncomfortable with the speculation about the twins' health. No one should have their babies physical appearance be subject to that sort of chatter.

    ReplyDelete
  28. lol@Sue Ellen, oh girl you didn't. I never had a problem with Chelsea's stand up, I think she's funny in this clip, too.

    ReplyDelete
  29. This isn't news she's been bashing Angelina pretty hard in her stand up for quite a while. I'm surprised it's only getting noticed now

    ReplyDelete
  30. The only thing I know about Angie drinking...is that she drinks a bit at the events they have to attend...
But in truth...I really don't drink..but if I had to attend all P.R and award events..I'd be drinking also...

    ReplyDelete
  31. If I were Jen, I'd be pissed. It is funny, but it makes Jen look bad since she just hung out with Chelsea.\

I don't think Jen asked her to do this.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I agree RocketQueen - I would hate to think anyone was speculating about my child based on a photo. All I saw in those pictures was a toddler with a hat pulled down over her ears (who hasn't done that when your kid has an ear infection?) who looked a little unhappy (probably due to the swarms of people and paps and flashbulbs) Nothing sinister with that... you can see the exact same face on dozens of kids at any mall/restaurant/public place with their parents any day of the week.

    ReplyDelete
  33. If you watch Chelsea's show, they go to Mexico fairly often and last time Jen was a guest, they talked about it and Chelsea said something about "when are we going to hang out down there".
I highly doubt Jennifer "paid" for the trip when Chelsea goes there often.
I stopped liking Chelsea when she put that Pretty Wild show on E!, but I think she was right on the money about Angelina. Brad wasn't the first married man she screwed around with.
And I do think she is a royal *unt. I'll never understand the worship of her by so many loons.

    ReplyDelete
  34. It's a pity that so many people pay for that classless white trash spouting off her vitriol about other people.
Good that she didn't offend gay people or black people, because that would be so discriminating and so not funny, right?

Gays, blacks, Asians, mentally and physically challenged people, people with different religious beliefs etc. can be so glad that they are off-limits since there still are women to shit on without having to fear any consequences and enough idiots who are there to cheer them on. Hooray!!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. so Mina, you're saying that CH, a paid comedienne, talking smack about a celeb is just as bad as someone making blanket derogatory comments about someone who is gay, black, Asian, mentally or physically challenged or people with different religious beliefs?

You lost me. Although I admit I have only seen her show a handful of times, and I have never seen her live, she seems to crack on everyone--not just women (or AJ). Yes, it might be tacky, but not at the level you're putting it. Mind you, were talking about a comedy act, not someone yelling at someone on the street. I think it might just not be your cup o tea.

  36. @chihuahuense

    You know I did/would.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yeah, I gotta agree with the comments re: Jens reaction to this.

For a couple of years, I have been pretty convinced that SURELY she must be over all this crap by now, and that it is only used by magazines. But if her new buddy is still bringing it up, she prob is too...

    ReplyDelete
  38. She is not talking smack about a celeb, chihuahuense, she is using misogynistic slurs towards another woman. You know misogyny? Discrimination against women?
Why is this so normal to people, especially to women?
    I just can't understand this.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I don't see how calling a spade a spade is discriminatory/misogynistic. Unless you want to count the word cunt as that. I think it's a subjective term, depending on who you are talking to.

I understand the intent behind the word is to hurt, but words can only hurt you if you allow it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Totally agree with RocketQueen - it does make me feel uncomfortable reading about the twins - it's tacky !

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hey, arent you guys talking about two different things here though? I cant watch the clip right now but I am pretty sure she is being mean to some girl in the audience AS WELL as Angelina, right?

Or perhaps I misunderstood, in which case, please continue arguing. :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. While I'm no fan of any of the people involved, that really sucks the way Chelsea is talking about Angelina. I'm sure Angelina/Brad/Jennifer are over the mess themselves as has been stated. But since Chelsea has brought it upon herself to give her opinion on Angelina Jolie and the whole "husband stealing" thing, I'm once again left wondering where she and all others that have an opinion on that mess places the blame on Brad. Me and a friend were just talking about this last week, our society places such a Scarlett Letter and blame on the "other woman" but not one ounce of blame on the MAN involved. And then us women like to hop on our high horses and talk about what the cheated one did wrong..."oh she should have had a baby" "she didn't love him enough" "she spent too much time working" then we'll blame the other woman...as Chelsea does above. But no one ever wants to blame the man..it's as if Brad was just the innocent guy in that whole thing. And as for Chelsea Handler's comments...again I'm no big fan of Angelina Jolie but to call her the c u next Tuesday word was just low, classless and uncalled for. It would be really cool to see us women coming together and being chill with each other. These catty attitudes do nothing but give even more power to men. Let's start having a little Girl Power y'all! :)

  43. i'm with rocket queen. ease up on the twins, for christsake. fetal alcohol syndrome????

    wow.

    ReplyDelete
  44. did you know that the word cunt is pretty common across the pond? sometimes even used between friends

here in america somehow it is so offensive. i don't really think it is a big deal.

but i don't follow this beaten bloody dead horse of a story anyway (branjenlina)

  45. I more than half believe Jen has a fund just for this -- that, for example, she pays the Huffington Post to have her on the front page at least once a week. Of course all expenses were on her for this little trip; look at how the investment paid off. She's in the news everywhere again.

And no, Jen is not for one minute over it. There's a new "Jen Speaks For the First Time Ever About Brad!" article in the downtime between these headlines she pays for from her marketing fund. And by the way. IT'S BEEN OVER MORE THAN HALF A DECADE ALREADY, LONGER THAN THEY WERE EVEN MARRIED.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I like CH! I think she is funny and will just say what she likes. Angelina is a coke head freak who drinks blood.
Sorry but I really don't like her. I don't care about Brad, just in general.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I tried to look this up earlier but was unsuccessful in finding out when Ted Habert divorced his last wife. I have NEVER heard that he/Chelsea dated while he was still married, so if someone can actually prove that, I'd love to know...

Chelsea has been trashing Angelina Jolie for YEARS. I don't know when her/JA became friends but I really don't think this is anything new from Chelsea Lately round table comments except she used the C word & it wasn't bleeped out. What Chelsea is saying isn't really that much different than what others have said about AJ.

I wonder if JA was mortified or laughed when she heard this....

    ReplyDelete
  48. The kids should be off limit. People need to realize that Brad and Angelina are now a family unit. There is really no reason to bring up Jennifer Aniston any longer in regards to the two of them. Time to move on....

    ReplyDelete
  49. I can't stand Angelina. She's fooled a lot of people with her b.s. but I've never been one of them.

    ReplyDelete
  50. As much as I don't really care for her, Chelsea is right. I don't understand all the Jolie (and Pitt) worship... I don't like Aniston either (Friends is the stupidest show I have ever been forced to sit through and every other role Jen has played is just an extension of her character on that show) but yeah. Angelina Jolie has never fooled me with her "I'm such a saintly, virtuous good mother" bullshit for a minute. She'll always be the girl wearing Billy Bob's blood, making out with her brother, and messing around with taken men (NOT just Pitt, either) whose hobbies include heroin and cutting. I hate how she has whitewashed her past and that people blindly eat it up and act like she's the second friggin coming of Christ. Don't even get me started on her wooden acting.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Chelsea is very funny 1/2 the time and too overly angry the other 1/2.
I can tell in the 1st two minutes of her monologue which it's going to be. Click. Unless Ross the Intern is on!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I understand the intent behind the word is to hurt, but words can only hurt you if you allow it.

I just can't understand why it is always us women who have to 'get over' this word being used or that we shouldn't care and that it can only hurt us if we let it hurt us?

I would like to see somebody dare to say that to black people when the word nigger is used or when somebody uses the word faggot towards gay people.
Why does nobody tell those people to lighten up as well?
After all, it's just a word.

I know that misogyny is so deeply rooted in our society that it has long become normal to everyone, even to women. I also know that for many - if not for most of the women - there's nothing worse than to be seen by men as an unfuckable, humorless, hairy-legged, raging feminist with a wart on her chin so that's why they tend to behave just as misogynistic as most men because they think it makes them look less complicated, and we all know that men fear nothing more than complicated women.
Why waste your time with a woman who has her standards and doesn't want to be degraded by other people if you can find a woman who doesn't give a fuck about all that 'feminist bullshit' on every other corner?

You know, if it wouldn't be so tragic to see how men managed to condition us over all those centuries to be scared to stand up for ourselves so that they can go on having an easy life and don't have to make a single effort to change their own worldviews it could almost be funny.

  53. @Mina-Excellent point--oh dear, my husband is calling me to make him a sandwich--pardon me!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Should that upset me in some way, chihuahuense? The joke's on you, servant. Don't forget the beer and the slippers while you're at it. Chop-chop!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I see your point Mina and totally agree. I've also been noticing it's almost cool now among some women to brag about how few or if any female friends they have because "women are so high maintenance" or whatever. F that! I LOVE all my girlfriends and have many of them. I find the c word incredibly offensive and will continue to call someone out when I hear it used.

    ReplyDelete
  56. @Mina

You're right, and I know it. I just can't change the system, or society, so I go with it. I've been called a cunt a few times in my life, and the first time I almost lost my mind, but now I just admit that I am. It takes the wind out of their sails when you do that.

The thing I've noticed is that the women men, or other women, call cunts are usually strong women who don't play/give an f. Now, if they were men they wouldn't be cunts, they'd be shrewd business men.

Unfortunately, lots of men aren't physically scared of women like they are black men, so the word n*** is something they wouldn't boastfully say, like they do cunt.

Maybe they need a woman to beat their asses the next time?

I don't have an answer, just a lot of thoughts.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Also, as knova pointed out, the word cunt in the UK is a friendly term, which is why I said it depends on who you are talking to.

Perhaps the time I lived in the UK has something to do with my nonchalance about the word.

    Still don't know.

    ReplyDelete
  58. no Mina, it wasn't supposed to offend you. I do think it is funny that you think I have been conditioned by men to accept misogyny.

I am just not offended by it. I call a man a dick if he is one and a woman a cunt. I am an equal-opportunity offender.

    ReplyDelete
  59. oh, and it was a joke, but I do make my man a sandwich. I can go out, make the money, bring it home and bring him beer and slippers, too, while I'm at it. That doesn't make me a servant, it make me a strong woman who does what the FUCK I please. Isn't THAT what feminism about? Not just your ideals of what it is.

    ReplyDelete
  60. That's why I like you, girlfriend.

    Two evil cunts... :D

  61. Ugh, Chelsea Handler is one of the least appealing people ever, to me. *shudder*
