Take The Job!!!

It must be that time of year again. I am writing about Speidi. But, this is a good thing. Or at least it could be a good thing if you dislike the couple as much as I do. An online betting and entertainment company has offered the couple a $100K a year to do something related to the website. The great thing about the gig is that they would have to live in Costa Rica for a year. A whole year with them mired in a lovely country far far away from the rest of us and paps and tabloids. Do it I say. Oh please oh please do it and make my holiday season.

  4. That's a lot of money to spend in this pair, which only makes me sad.

  5. Maybe the website is sick of them too and as their gift to the world, they're willing to pay them to go away.

    Please take it.

  6. I'll bet it's not enough money for them. Frankly, couples working NORMAL jobs in my city make about that amount when you combine their incomes - doesn't seem like it would be enough for them.
E! has already banned them from the site though, and thankfully we hear MUCH less about them these days, so what do they have to lose?

  7. I can't see Spencer turning down a payday. Costa Rica is fairly close to California. They'll fly back for weekends.

$100k in Costa Rica doesn't go as far as it used to, especially with Speidi's expensive tastes. They might even take the money and run. I know jack about international law: What are the chances that the Costa Rican company could sue them and actually get any of their investment returned?

  8. The way I read it is, they are betting Heidi & Spencer 100k to stay out of the US and promote the website from Costa Rica.

So they can't fly back on weekends to the US.

Though I do hate the thought of them AGAIN getting money for doing nothing.

  9. Sounds like a pretty cushy job to me. I'd take it, if I were flat broke. How did TMZ get a hold of that letter. I like the opening line...

  10. I'll add .02 cents to that bid... anyone else?
I'm sure if we all contributed .02, we could easily at least triple the amount the website's offering... of course, I'd demand the location be changed to an uncharted desert island that they'd conveniently lose the directions to after dropping them off.
Hell, I'll even go so far as to offer a nickel if they'll do that.
    Any takers??

  11. @ Merlin - I'll contribute a dollar if Heidi gives me Audrina's number.
