ReplyDeleteIf I was Kate, I think I would be bothered by the ring constantly being referred to as Diana's. Yes it was Di's, but now it's Kates. But, it will probably always be Di's. That why I said in another post he should have saved it for a daughter. Or even given it to Kate after their first child.

I am very happy for William and Kate. I wish them a lifetime of happiness. And I hope the royal family treats Kate better than they treated Diana. I believe they truly love each other, as opposed to the Charles/Di situation.

I always thought Wintour's hair was a wig but here it almost looks *gasp* real! Plus, smiling? Weird.

I think the ring is beautiful and what a lovely thought. He gave her the ring that once belonged to his beloved mother, who will always be England's Princess. Divorce never took that away. Beautiful.

I think Christina Aguilera has been looking different lately. I also think she might be pregnant. Girl never misses an opportunity to wear a slutty skin-tight dress but she wears a tent to her very first movie debut?

All I could think when I heard the news about the ring was some quote by Diana about wanting to be the princess or queen of people's hearts. I mean her ring makes perfect sense for one of her boy's sweethearts/true loves/she who also will be princess and would be queen of her son's heart. But maybe I'm just ... sappy like a Taylor Swift song.

I just watched a video on CNN with Prince William and Kate. He said he gave Kate his mothers ring because his mother is not here to see the festivities and it's their way of keeping her there. Very touching.
ReplyDeleteActually, the ring went to Harry, not William. Harry gave it to Wils. Personally, my guess is that she has two rings, one that is just hers and this one to flash around to the public.

ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to seeing what her wedding dress will look like, too. I suspect it will be either an A-line or more of a long sheath-style. Kate is older and more sophisticated than Diana was when she married. Plus, the fashions now are sleeker then back in the early 80's. I can't see Kate in a poofy ballgown dress.
I'm sure what ever it looks like, though, it will be elegant and gorgeous on her!

As a Princess Diana devotee who loves William and Harry as nephews, I LOVE the news!!!!!!!!!!! And the fact that Harry gave the ring to Wills who gave it to Kate just makes my heart flutter!
