The Party At Kitty And Stud's Sells For $412K
So, you are probably asking yourself why was there a party at Kitty and Stud's and why did it cost $412K? If you do know who Kitty and Stud are, then I do not ever want to play Trivial Pursuit against you. This week, the original negative for the above entitled film was sold on eBay for that amount and it will probably make much, much more than that if it is ever released. Stud in this movie refers to Sylvester Stallone. He was the title character in this 1970's porn which marked the debut of Sly's acting and his peen to the world.
The actor was paid $200 for his two days of work and I am sure that at some point in the next year the movie will be released so the generation of today can see the real Italian Stallion if you know what I mean. After Rocky was released the producers changed the title and the box to what you see above. Can you believe people were willing to pay $99 to see this movie? Wow, prices have come down on porn now.
I wonder if a private buyer or a studio bought it.
ReplyDeleteAnd it went for $400,000 more then I thought it would of.
As short as he is, his penis will probably look big. I read that most porn stars only look so big because they are short men and they shave or wax all their pubic hair off.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Stallone is who bought the negative? If so, no one will ever see this.
Pass. Not even for 9.99
ReplyDeleteIs this the Demi Lovato tape everyone was talking about? Do Stallone and Lovato do each other?
ReplyDeleteUm, I have seen this movie. And I didnt pay 99 bucks neither. And his little 'stallion' could only be ridden on my an ant, its that small.
ReplyDeleteAdd all the images of classic icky 70's porn into the mix and you have the movie.
His look small and it is small. Think rigatoni/ And not cannelloni.
ReplyDeleteDamn I need to proof read!
ReplyDeleteMeant to say *could only be ridden on by an ant, not MY aunt. Sheesh
Younger readers may not be aware that the $99 price in that ad has nothing to do with the filming being soft-core porn. When home video was new, most movies cost around that amount, and even into the late 80s that was still a common price when a film was released to the rental stores, prior to being reissued as a "sell-through" title.
ReplyDelete@Robert, I remember those high prices on movies in the 80's.
ReplyDeleteRobert has it right; when home video recorders were still fairly new to the market, the prices for both blank tapes and movies were very high. I recall the price of a 60-minute blank tape was $100. We waited to buy a VCR until the price came down to $500. Two years later, my sister bought one for $450 - but it had a remote control! True, the remote was attached to the VCR with a wire, but -- hey, remote control!
ReplyDeleteAh, the 70s...
I don't want to see "The Italian Stallion" I'm sure it's an amazing work of art but Stallone always gives me the creeps.
ReplyDeleteSqueezebox said "the remote was attached to the VCR with a wire" really? lmao...so what was the point of that?
Steroids are bad, m'kay?
ReplyDeleteI thougt it was the coolest thing when we got a VCR in 1985.. I rode my bike to the rental store and watched movies all summer long... One day I was exploring the attic and found my dad's porn collection. Oops
ReplyDeleteCan I get it on betamax?
ReplyDeleteI had a BetaMax with a remote control that was attached by a cord too! My mom & I taped Days of Our Lives every day and watched it at night or weekends. It didn't reach very far but it did make it to the La-
ReplyDeleteZ-Boy across from the TV.
Lol chopchop - I think we had the same BetaMax!
ReplyDeleteI remember the day 'Heathers' came out on video, I went to a video store to try to buy it and I was shocked when they told me it was $90. I probably ended up paying that much renting it over and over again anyway.
ReplyDeleteit's about 3 inches long, and he's not a grower either. That's fully shown.
ReplyDeleteOther men have 3 inches and grow to 7, not him.
Sly should have bid $413K.
ReplyDeleteI remember the remote attached with a wire! It was hugely useful, because for the first time you didn't have to get up and walk across the room to change the channel on the tv or the vcr button remotely. You'd have 5 feet of wire to stretch from the la-z-boy to the tv.
ReplyDelete*feeling old*
Thanks Jasmine! I won't lose any sleep wondering about this now.
