Most Amazing Wheel Of Fortune Win Ever

27 letters and 7 words was nothing for Caitlin Burke. I mean she did have one letter and an apostrophe so it probably took her a half second longer than it would have with no letters. I don't see how she could have cheated but Pat Sajak was clearly stunned Caitlin solved the puzzle.

  1. Not so surprising. Sometime people get psychic flashes.

  2. I don't think it's that improbable. The first word was very limited in its possibilities. Once she guessed "L" she ruled out "I'll," and once she had "I've," the rest follows pretty easily.

  5. She's a local girl. I'm glad she did well.

Every now and then the puzzles jump out at me and they are easy to solve.

  6. My connection sucks and I was waiting for the rest of the video to load after she guessed the 'L'. I actually got it, too. The apostrophe gives it away. There really aren't that many common phrases that begin with 'I've', which I figured the first word was, and then the 'L' confirmed my suspicion. I do think it's cool that she guessed it that quick, but this puzzle wasn't actually that difficult.

  7. Good for her. Sometimes you're in the zone and the puzzles come easy, but I find that words are harder than phrases where you have several clues like apostrophes and single letter words.

  13. My mom used to do that all the time and it would drive me nuts! Sometimes, she wasn't even in the room! Scary!

  14. Could someone tell me what the phrase was? the video was removed.

Oh, and my aunt pulls that ALL the time. Usually with NO letters. I hate when she does that.

  15. @mng - it was "I've got a good feeling about this".

  16. I also thought, if she was focusing on the first word -- and it seems she was, as she guessed the letter L -- that this is entirely within the realm of possibility. The first word of any phrase is always key, and this one had to be something with an I' and there's not much to choose from there (I'll, I've). And on top of it, if this is a common phrase in her household, there you go. (I mean it's entirely possible she went to this gig saying this very phrase to a friend or loved one.)

  18. In grade 10 English I played WOF/Hangman with a couple friends and guessed one with no letters whatsoever... moments of clarity just happen upon commonfolk :)
