Lily Allen Rushed To The Hospital
It has been a really bad week for Lily Allen. Last week she lost her baby after six months of pregnancy and on Friday was admitted to a hospital for the blood poisoning condition septicaemia which can be fatal. Earlier in the day on Friday she had sent a message to her fans stating that she was still very sick, but was beginning to recover and then came the news she had been rushed to the hospital.
Her people released a statement later which said, "She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve. Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers."
Hopefully she makes a full recovery very quickly.
Poor Lily Allen round 2.
ReplyDeleteHope she recovers quickly.
How did her blood get poisoned?
ReplyDelete:(
ReplyDeleteOh, lovely Lily...
Get better. Please, get better. I need your snark...and that lovely voice.
Poor Lily. Get better soon! I love her because if I were a singer, I would definitely sing bitchy songs like hers.
ReplyDeleteChristopher Cazanove just passed away from septicaemia, it's a dangerous condition. I had it as a child from a tooth extraction, I was lucky! I wish her well.
ReplyDeleteI think it happens from hospitals and medical places where you're treated. I knew people who died from it too and it was always after a hospital visit.
ReplyDelete@Sylvia Septicaemia can occur after a surgery.
ReplyDeleteHope she heals quickly. It breaks my heart hearing about such late term miscarriages.
You can get septicaemia after a miscarraige if all of the pregnancy or fetal material is not removed from the uterus - thus the risk of infection. It's why women have D&C's when the pregnancy ends prematurely.
ReplyDeletethis just sucks, damn it. I like her! She needs some happy now!
ReplyDeleteHope she gets some peace soon.
ReplyDelete<3 to you Lily.
ReplyDeleteoh, how heartbreaking...this is the 2nd pregnancy lost, right? :(
ReplyDeletei'm not a fan, but i am a woman, and this broke my heart just to read. aside from physical recovery, i hope there's full emotional recovery as well.
Poor thing.
ReplyDeletehow absolutely tragic for her. she's just had one heartbreak after another the last year or so.
ReplyDeletei hope she has a full recovery and can heal emotionally from all this. i can't imagine what she must be feeling at this time. hugs and love to her.
sad, get well soon.
ReplyDeletepoor thing. sending out lavender scented good vibes to her. i had septicemia and it is HORRIBLE :(
ReplyDeleteLots of things can cause septicemia, unfortunately there is a good chance that her case came from something relating to the stillbirth of her child, or possibly the pregnancy. So awful for her. She is in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteSO SAD!
