The National Enquirer has a new report out about a really crazy argument that happened between Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife Tish. I would have thought the fight was about Tish knocking boots and exchanging bandannas with Bret Michaels, but instead the fight seems to have been because of Miley. No, not about who gets her money, but the fact that Billy Ray tried to ground Miley for talking back to him and Tish intervened and said Miley could go out.
Billy Ray apparently went ballistic and started screaming at Tish, and calling her lots of names. Tish, then went to the bedroom with one of the kids. Noah maybe? While in there, Billy kept yelling and screaming and then finally kicked down the bedroom door. Billy accused of Tish of letting everyone run wild when he was not there and told her it had to stop.
My first impression is that seems to come from someone neutral or maybe on Tish's side. The kicking down the door part and calling Tish a b**ch is not very positive for Billy Ray, but at the same time he is the one who said that he is trying to keep the kids inside and normal and Tish does not do that.
Team Billy especially if it is true that he is trying to keep everyone from running wild.

ReplyDeleteI don't think either of these parents are role model material, but if the story is true and Billy Ray was trying to ground Miley, then good for him. That girl needs a grounding for life.
ReplyDeleteI am on Team Billy, if there is a team. I don't really see him as a bad father at all. He has guided his daughter's career and has been at her side the entire time, playing her father. He seems a very active dad and I don't think anyone meant for those photos to look as creepy as they did, particularly the ones of him and Miley.
ReplyDeleteI know he had her boyfriend living with them, but perhaps he felt he was better able to watch over things that way. Sure, they may have done what teens do when parents aren't home, but perhaps he felt he could keep a more watchful eye that way. Who knows.
I do see him as a loving father though and while I don't know Tish, she seems really skanky.
If any of this is true and he really did try and ground Miley, then i respect him a tiny bit more for this story. Tish has always come across as a bit of a Dina Lohan in the making.

ReplyDeleteA year ago I came across a forum where one of Billy's long time friends claimed that there was tension for awhile about how Tish was raising the kids and that Billy Ray had no say in anything and was getting really pissed off at what a brat Miley was turning into. Wish I could remember what forum that was on...
