OJ Simpson Appeal - Denied!

Lindsay Lohan caught a break today in not going back to jail, but one person who should and will remain behind bars is OJ Simpson. The Nevada Supreme Court refused to overturn OJ's conviction and said his appeals were without merit. Yay! OJ's co-defendant was much luckier and he gets a new trial.

Simpson is serving 9 to 33 years in prison for his armed robbery and kidnapping convictions. Hmm, the trial was in 2008, so if you think that he would have to serve about 1/3 the time to be eligible for parole that would mean he could be eligible next year. I doubt they would give it to him though. Yes, he is 63, but he is a killer who is right where he should be. You know he thought since he was acquitted of the criminal charges in the murder that he thought he could get away with anything. He didn't and he was an idiot for screwing up after getting a chance to walk free from murder.

  1. "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit" is one of my favourite things to say when shit goes wrong.

  2. Couldn't happen to a nicer person.

Maybe there is some sort of lopsided justice in this world.

  3. I hope he never gets out, but he probably will some day.

  4. There is a Santa Claus! It's too bad that he isn't in prison for double murder, but sometimes you've got to take what you can get. Karma is a powerful bitch when she's angry.

  5. To get parole, though, you have to acknowledge you did wrong in committing the crime. OJ never will acknowledge he was at fault for anything.

  6. If he had stayed in Florida and spent his time playing golf...um... looking for the "real killers"... he wouldn't be in jail. But sometimes the ego gets the best of ya :) We can only hope the parole board feels the same way the Nevada Supreme Court does.

  8. If he does come up for parole, you can be sure the Goldman family and Nicole's sister will be at the hearing to say a few things.

  11. Pookie, I seem to remember his daughter, with Nicole, calling the cops on him a few years ago, so I don't know how devastated they'd be.

  13. You say his a killer....but he was found not guilty for that crime.
If he was up for parole it wouldn't be for murder in 1st degree but for the charges that you listed.

seriously...who are you...aren't you supposed to be a lawyer or something?

  14. Where did Enty say that the parole hearing was for anything other than the robbery and kidnapping charges, Vanessa? Because I'm not reading it that way at all.

Also, "...and he was an idiot for screwing up after getting a chance to walk free from murder." No, he was an idiot long before he screwed up again. I'd say around the time that he nearly fucking decapitated the mother of his children, even.

I hope he rots in jail for the rest of his pathetic life.

  15. I think what Enty is intimating is that, yes OJ was found not guilty of the murders (but who in their right mind believes that?) & is now serving time for this next set of charges.

I can't believe anyone would defend him. :-/ scary

  16. @ jacksparrow:
the goldman's wouldn't have any say in this matter, he's not serving time for anything related to the murders.

dude musta gotten hit in the head way too many times during his football days. he WAS one helluva college player. now he's just a psychopathic/sociopathic lunatic. and i don't think that statement was redundant.
