OctoMom Still Has 29 Embryos

In an interview back in January, Nadya Suleman told Radar that she has no embryos left and all that she had were used when she became pregnant with the octuplets. Well, it turns out that she actually has 29 embryos left and they have never been frozen.

At a hearing to determine what to do to the license of the doctor who implanted all the embryos in Nadya it was revealed Nadya has 29 left. My question is why? Why keep them? I hope that she is not thinking deep in her mind that she is going to have more kids. This is not a person who should have access to these embryos because I fear one day she will want to have another baby and the next thing you know she will have sextuplets and have passed the Duggars but with no visible means to support all those kids.

  1. Don't you mean they have never been thawed? They have to be kept frozen to preserve viability, so if they have never been frozen, then they must be fresh - as in, created within the past few days.

I honestly do not think any fertility doctor with a shred of sanity would implant those embryos for her. Not with all the publicity over this last pregnancy and the backlash he would receive. As for whether the embryos should be destroyed, there is a lot of debate on that, depending on your point of view. However, what would be nice is if she would donate them anonymously - there are a lot of people out there who would love to be parents, and can't afford the $$$ it costs to go through an IVF procedure.

  2. Um, Enty... I realize printing that she has 29 embryos that have never been frozen gets you a lot more hits on your site... but y'all really need to do you Assisted Reproductive Technology and/or IVF research before you post such utter nonsense.

Embryos can barely survive 5 days most of the time. Most IVF embryo transfers are done sometime between 3-5 days. Very, very few embryos will ever make it to 6 days.

So unless you're going to tell me that ol' Nadya mated with Superman and her embies are injected with supersonic form of Everlasting Cryptonite, there is no way in H E L L she could have 29 unfrozen embryos left.

    That is all.

  3. She needs to do more talk shows. Watching her on talk shows is like watching the most horrific accident on Earth. You know you shouldn't watch...but you can't look away.

  4. I'm guessing he posted too fast to proofread. Poor Ent - everyone freaks when he doesn't post enough then when he posts, we comment on his typos. LOL.

I'm sure those embryos will be destroyed - they have to be. If she hasn't learned her lesson by now, then she really is sick in the head.

  5. The headline alone is enough to give me shivers. I certainly hope there is not a doctor out there who is crazy and unethical enough to implant her.

  6. If this is true then I hope she has the sense to donate them to couples that really need them.

And glad you're back enty I was getting worried about you.

  8. Maybe we can all chip in and pay someone working at the storage facility to "accidentally" trip on the freezer cord and unplug it.

If OM doesn't bear anymore of her embryos I can see her trying to sell them.

  9. When she was interviewed by Dr. Phil right after she gave birth she told him not only that she didn't want to destroy the frozen embryos that were in storage, hence their use even though she already had six kids, but also that "only" six embryos were transfered, and that two had split. This Doctor's hearing has uncovered that both those statement were complete lies. She never used frozen embryos in any of her IVF cycles and he transfered 12 embryos, per her request for this last cycle.

I have never understood why the state or even journalists didn't investigate how she funded all these IVF cycles. She has said that she used savings, but my understanding is that you cannot receive social services, like food stamps, when you have a mini fortune sitting in the bank. Fraud, maybe?

  10. i would think after all of the tummy tucking and lipo-ing she has had done, having more babies wouldn't really be an option, but i don't know, maybe you can stretch out again.

and i really TRULY hope she knows she has enough mouths to feed and lives to nurture and care for, she doesn't need any more!

  11. Thank you, A. Bedelia, for pointing out her LIE about what she had done, and why. I remember even more interviews in which she used pro-life and religious language about not wanting to see her 'children' thrown away and giving a reason that she didn't selectively reduce. She specifically said she had to implant ALL SHE HAD LEFT, lest they be destroyed. Now we find out that it wasn't six she had left nor was it "six but two split," it was a purposeful request and delivery of TWELVE embryos into this woman, with 29 left in the freezer.

She wanted to become famous, and human lives were created for it. The whole situation makes me shiver.

    rant over. Sorry all.

  13. I honestly believe she'd have more kids if she could. She's crazy that way.

  14. If the doctor that implanted her jail time, no one will touch those embryos.

  15. Make that Dr pay child support for all the embryos he was stupid enough to implant in that nut job. Better he pay for them the tax payers. That might also make some of these Dr's think twice before implanting an insane amount of enbryos in some woman trying to set a record for having the most babies at one time.

  16. In all honesty, I'd take the gosseleins, hers, and the young Duggars (too late for the older indoctrinated ones) away to be raised by sane people.
I truly think one day all this stupidity is going to lead to a return of sterilization laws. Just wait until we run out of water resources.
