Marilyn manson Helped Raise Evan Rachel Wood

Creepy. Very creepy. Evan Rachel Wood gave an interview to Nylon Magazine this month. In the interview she talks about her relationship with Marilyn Manson and gave up this little ditty. "He had a hand in raising me!" Is that something someone should be saying about her boyfriend? Probably not, but didn't they start dating when she was like 12 or something? No, I know, she was a teenager and he was like 30 something. Not like Celine Dion and Rene Angelil creepy, but when the first thing you can think to say about your ex was that he helped raise you that is all kinds of wrong.

  1. I just read the comment and I'll give the benefit of the doubt here:

*Maybe* she meant the relationship caused her to grow up and she learned a lot or whatever??

    It's possible.

  2. It is possible and not in a creepy way. What's creepy is ever being with this guy.

  4. @cecilia: im hoping that that's how she meant it, too. every relationship changes you, teaches you thing, especially w her being so young, i can understand why she feels that way.

  6. the only good thing to come out of Marilyn cheating on Dita von Teese with Evan (barely legal at the time) Rachel is that Dita dumped him and is with an uber-hot guy now.

  7. I get what she was saying, too. However, I also agree that their entire relationship was very creepy long before she made this statement. He's definitely one of those borderline pedophiles that likes girls best when they're just barely legal, and I used the word girls on purpose.

  8. I wish people would stop throwing around the word 'pedophile' when people are involved who clearly aren't children anymore. Evan Rachel was 19 when she was officially dating Marilyn Manson. Maybe 18 when he cheated on Dita with her. You can't call someone that age a child and an older person dating that 18/19-year-old a pedophile.
You can only refer to it as being pedophilia if it involves children who haven't reached puberty yet.
And just because he once had a relationship to a 19-year-old it doesn't mean that he's only interested in women that age. Dita von Teese and Rose McGowan weren't teenagers after all.
