Lisa Rinna Casting Couch Story

Last week after Gwyneth Paltrow repeated the same casting couch story she has used at least four times (but everyone always reports like she has never said it before), Lisa Rinna also shared a casting couch story. Being the cynic I am and still not sure if that whole robbery live on television thing was a setup or not, I wonder if this happened to her. It probably did because it happens a lot. Lisa says that when she was 24 she went to a producer's office for an audition for a very big television show. The producer apparently told her the part was Lisa's if she would only pull her panties down and bend over the chair for a quickie.

Lisa did not agree and ran from the office. She told PopEater that she has never even told her husband who the producer is. Really? I find that hard to believe. Anyway, she says that when she was on Melrose Place she ran into the producer on a red carpet and said, "I know everyone in this town and if you ever do what you did to me again to anyone else I will tell everyone your dirty secret."

It would be great if she did say that but I also doubt she would be able to check whether he was doing it or not. I'm trying to think of a show that would have been right for her at 24 that was big.

  2. She really should have told then, but I guess she was newer to the industry and was afraid to come forward. Now it is a he-said she-said and she can be sued for defamation if she says the name. It's sad these dirtbags get away with it. Every young woman should record all of her auditions and interviews...just in case!

  4. I got the impression the part did not end up being played by Lisa after that happened. Not sure for the show, though, but on a side note, anyone else think she looked much better before all the surgeries?

  6. Funny, just the other day the same thing happened to me when I was applying for a small business loan at the bank. When he requested that I bend over the chair, I replied "Aren't I already with the interest you want to charge?"

  7. I believe it happened to Lisa.

I totally do not believe it ever happened to Gwynnie. I mean .. who would do that to her? Hello?? If it got out - given her parents?? - Career .. met over.

I think it is just Gwynnie's attempt to once again seem like she is just regular actress who haplessly fell into her career despite horrendous odds against her. [Okay .. I made that last little bit up .. but you know this is the shit she says to herself as she falls asleep at night.] ; )

  9. You know, I can't see/read about Harry Hamlin or Lisa Rinna without recalling a story Corbin Bernsen told on a talk show.

Bernsen said he arrived early for a BBQ at the Hamlin's house and the outside barbecue grill was covered in bird shit. Harry was rushing around getting ready for the event and Corbin kept waiting for him to clean the grill. He waited and watched anxiously and Harry finally just fired up the grill and barbecued the chicken on the bird shit covered grill!

Corbin accepted a piece of cooked chicken and very carefully cut it open and nibbled at the inside of the piece of chicken, studiously avoiding the outside.

    How gross is that?

  10. "Cheers" was looking for someone to replace Shelley Long in 1987, and foud the previously un-famous Kirstie Alley to replace her. You don't suppose that was the role, do you?

Mango - That is nasty. I would have skipped the chicken and just had water lol.

Regarding FishStick and her story. Is she trying to make herself look like some innocent young kid when that happen? Also what is the purpose of bringing that up? Did she report the guy??

  14. I think it would have been ironic if the reason she didn't want to tell Harry who it was, is because it was LA LAW.

  15. I think these people (assuming it happened) should be outed. By telling these stories but not revealing the names, these women are part of this behaviour continuing.
