Justin Bieber Does Nails

In one of the better marketing ideas I have seen in awhile, Justin Bieber is launching a new line of nail polish. This is way better than another perfume or cologne or anything like that. This one actually makes sense. The nail polish is designed for the tweener types who love and adore all things Beebs so you know this will be popular. Plus it is going to be sold at Wal-Mart so I'm guessing it will be inexpensive too, which is always a plus when you are asking 11 year old girls to spend their parents' money.

The only complaint I have is that the bottle says Nicole which is who is partnering up with Biebs. It should just have Justin Bieber on it with a face that you can color with the nail polish.

  1. WTF! Enty, you may see this as a great marketing idea but I see it as a money-making ploy by a creepy-looking, so-so performer who makes me want to gag every time I see his face. However, I like your idea of having a Justin Bieber face on the bottle that can be colored-in. Make it a cartoon likeness and I'll buy a bottle.

  3. The Bieber hair style alone makes me hate him.

  4. I wonder who at Team Bieber thought this was a good idea? Probably the same people who thought his haircut was attractive.

Hard to read the label but it looks like it's made by Opi. Sure hope it's cheaper than regular Opi polishes or they'll be ripping off Bieber's tween fans.

  5. i know he has know say in this other than 'hey beebs, what's your favorite color?' but i hate that i like that blue in the bottom right.

  6. Nicole is an OPI division of more natural, less abrasive nail lacquers. It's also more flashy...geared for the teen market. Beibs will make a killing from this, as will OPI

  8. Don't worry awesome bolls, OPI constantly recycles their colors and gives them a new name. Look for the blue in a new collection soon. :)

  9. If I ever wear a nail product, I want it to be OPI. Unless it's Halloween or a holiday party, then I can stand it on me for one night.

  10. I saw this yesterday it just seems strange. It isn't like these girls' friends are going to know its Beiber nail polish so what's the point?

  11. Hee! OK Go just posted this on facebook (are they some of your celeb readers, Enty?):

Our own nail polish? That's an avenue we weren't really looking into...

  12. The OPI/Nicole brand has been sold at Wal-Mart for the last year or two. It's less expensive than regular OPI, but still too much for me. I think it runs about $6 a bottle. I think Justine Bieber looks and sounds like a 12 year old girl. This nail polish thing isn't going to help.

  13. I'd be more likely to buy it if it were OK Go.

  15. You could pretty much slap Bieber's name on anything right now and it would make money. From a business standpoint, I bet this is not the last product he'll be "collaborating" on..not by a long shot.
