Over the past week, Bruno Tonioli has received more attention for his comments about Michael Bolton than at any other time during the 11 season run of Dancing With The Stars. He clearly enjoyed it and clearly wants more. He is kind of becoming a Simon Cowell/Paula Abdul mix which is not really the best thing. Last night he said that Bristol Palin was not Meryl Streep. Huh? I know Bristol's dancing was really bad, but I don't know what that has to do with Meryl Streep. He then later got up and just started dancing which really seemed to freak out the other judges. Maybe someone spiked his drink or maybe he wants his own show or maybe the commute between London and Los Angeles is getting to him but something is definitely up with the guy.
Well at least they didn't kiss her butt as much as they've been doing. Oh but her scores are still too high. She isn't a competent dancer but she is surprisingly very polite, humble and respectful.
ReplyDeleteBruno's Meryl Streep comment had to do with last night being story night. All of the dances had to tell a story, so the dancers had to add some drama to their dance.
ReplyDeleteBruno has always made outlandish comments and gestures. I don't think he's acting any differently than in past seasons.
DWTS's judges are fantastic, IMO. They are very entertaining.

ReplyDeleteI thought she did very well for someone who has no dancing or performance experience. Not really fair to compare her to Jennifer Gray or Brandy. She does seem like a really sweet girl and I hope she stays on. They need to Ditch the Sitch!
