BuzzFoto Blind Item
This aging actress who made it big on a popular 80′s family sitcom will be coming back into the limelight if her ex has his way. He was at a bar this weekend, gabbing to sources that he has some ‘very kinky’ video footage of the star from back in the days when the two were married also involving heavy drug use and he’s planning on trying to sell it to the highest bidder. He also plans to write a tell-all book about underage cast members from her show that would get involved in their antics.
Justine Bateman or Tina Yothers? Lisa Bonet?
ReplyDeleteThis guy sounds like a real prize.
ReplyDeletethe first name that popped in my head was Meridith Baxter (Birney)I heard her hubby was a bully and mean from some gossip mag way back. I think she came out as a lesbian awhile back.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine Lenny Kravitz would do anything like that to Lisa they have a grown daughter...and she has twins with her latest..
ReplyDeleteLaurie Metcalf from Roseanne
ReplyDeleteI think Tina Yothers is still married. My first thought was the Cosby kids.
ReplyDeletemeredith baxter i can see. can't see it being the other guesses---they're a lot younger so to me aren't quite 'aging.'
ReplyDeleteOne of the Facts of Life stars? Oh dear, Charlotte Rae, I told you to stay away from that low life...
ReplyDeleteWhat about Kirstie Alley? She has already admitted to extensive drug use.
ReplyDeleteActress: Shannon Dougherty
ReplyDeleteEx: Rick Solomon
Show: 90210
Meredith Baxter has come out as a lesbian. Maybe it would be interesting if her husband, David Birney decided to get her back.
ReplyDeleteget her back at leaving him for someone else.
ReplyDelete90210 wasn't an 80s family sitcom.
ReplyDeleteJoanna Kerns from Growing Pains?
I'm thinking it's a Tv mom.
Nicole Eggert - Charles in Charge - according to IMDB: Accused her ex-boyfriend, Leor Dimant (aka DJ Lethal), of subjecting her to domestic violence during their romance [September, 2008).
ReplyDeleteBut they weren't married dammit & she's 38 (is that "aging").
SoooOOo-
Lori Loughlin - Full House. she's 46. Was married to a dude from 1989-1996.
Family shows of the 80s? I'd go with someone from Cosby, Growing Pains, Family Ties, Facts of Life.
ReplyDeleteCosby kids? No...they've all turned out pretty respectable.
ReplyDeleteGrowing Pains? I know that Kirk and Tracy Gold have both come out and openly discussed what was going on with them during those times.
How about The Nanny? Those kids seemed to be pretty precousious in real life.
Or...I have to say it...Betty White! Those Golden Girls were WILD!!!
Suzanne Sommers.
ReplyDeleteLaurie Loughlin is still working, isn't she? It's not like she is "aging" in the common sense of the word. She looks great!
ReplyDeleteWhat about someone from the Wonder Years?
Yeah, she's on 90210 currently. Ugh. Ok back to research.
ReplyDeleteSuzanne Somers sitcom 'Step by Step' was from the 90's. Three's company ended in 81 and I don't think there were many underage cast in that anyways.
ReplyDeleteResearch isn't turning up much on anyone else, unless I'm missing someone obvious.
I am positive that this is NOT Phylicia Rashad. My first thought was Meredith Baxter Birney.
ReplyDeleteI suck at blind items...but my gut instinct is telling me that this is someone from a slightly lesser known (but still popular) sitcom.
ReplyDeleteJustine Bateman popped in my head.
ReplyDeleteDebbie Allen from Fame (1982-1987), divorced in 1983 then remarried in 1984. Not a lot of overlap (82-83) but lots of younger cast members.
ReplyDeleteHow about someone from Saved by the Bell?
ReplyDeleteCrys
@Crystalrope Saved by the Bell was '89-'93 so I don't know that it would be considered an 80's sitcom. Plus none of the girls on that show are really what I would consider 'aging'?
ReplyDeleteRoseanne and Tom Arnold.
ReplyDeleteJodie Sweetin?
ReplyDeleteWow Leia...good one.
ReplyDeleteJodie Sweetin was born in '82 which would make her 5yrs old at the start of Full House and ~13 at the end. So she isn't the aging actress but could be one of the cast members if Lori Loughlin is the aging actress but I don't think that Lori fits either.
ReplyDeleteAlso I don't mean to be completely negative and shooting everything down, I just find myself rather obsessed by this one...
I thought Roseanne immediately, even though it didn't start til 1988. But Tom Arnold is supposed to be a good guy in real life, helping out H'wood guys with drug issues to get straight or stay straight.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. have to do more thinking.
What were some other sitcoms from that time period? Silver Spoons, Valerie's Family, Alf, Webster.........
ReplyDeleteErin Gray from Silver Spoons, possibly. I thought about Judith Light from Who's the Boss, but she seems to still be married. I can't find any info on Erin Gray's personal life
ReplyDeleteErin Moran - Happy Days (74-84) & Joanie loves Chachi (82-83)
ReplyDeleteShe's 49. Was married to Rocky Ferguson from 1987-1993.
but the math doesn't add up with marriage vs. show.
Full House
ReplyDeleteSaved by the Bell
Alf
Wonder Years
Married with Children
Family Matters
Knight Rider
Golden Girls
A-Team
MASH
Punky Brewster
Seinfeld
Dukes of Hazzard
Happy Days
Roseanne
Growing Pains
MacGyver
Star Trek: Next Generation
Bionic Six
Quantum Leap
These are some of the 80s shows. Too many to type LOL
I thought Jodie Sweetin right off the top of my head, then someone from Family Ties.
ReplyDelete@FluffyElmo - you totally just reminded me that Step By Step existed :)
Anyone else remember My Two Dads?
I'd be surprised if it were Silver Spoons. A friend of mine's sister went out on a date with Ricky Schroeder, and he was a good kid and fairly straight and narrow even then.
ReplyDeleteHow about Square Pegs? Lots of under agers in that show, though it didn't last for very long.
another wild guess:
ReplyDeleteMackenzie Phillips (age 50)- One Day at a Time-(aired- 1975-1984)
Ex husband: Jeff Sessler (1979-1981)
Valarie Bertinelli & Glenn Scarpelli could have been the underagers at one point since it was on for 9 years.
Mackenzie's drug problems started 77-78 season of the show, left in 1980 & Came back in 1981.
I can't see this being Mackenzie Phillips.
ReplyDeleteHer past with drugs, which she openly admits to and has chronicled - and the revelation about the incest with her father pretty much closed any door and hope for a big payday over a scandal.
I'd consider One Day at a Time more of a 70's show, and while she is aging, is Mackenzie Phillips really considered an actress?
ReplyDeleteThat being said, the time bloodonthescreen gives fit the clues to a tee. I've read Mackenzie's book, and while she never said she did drugs or partied with Valerie B, she also never said she didn't either. That could have been the reason Mackenzie was fired from the show.
Anyway, this guy is probably just boasting and shit talking trying to be a big man.
One Day at a Time does fit, but Valerie Bertinelli was supposedly very, very straight, and how much more shocking than an alleged incestuous relationship can we get with Mackenzie Phillips?
ReplyDelete@lutefisk Well, Valerie WAS married to Eddie Van Halen for a very long time. She might like to come across as straight laced, but she couldn't have been sitting at home reading Bronte novels when she met Eddie.
ReplyDeleteAnd the producers might have looked the other way if Mackenzie just kept her partying ways to herself, but if she started doing it with Valerie, there is no way they would jeapordize the show and maybe THAT was the real reason she was fired. Valerie might be a straight arrow now, but I could see her going to Mackenzies place when she was younger and experimenting.
