With so many Real Housewives shows in production and the available slots for parties and other paid public appearances shrinking as a result, two of the OC Housewives got into a fight at the wrap party for their current season. Oh, and of course it was all captured by the cameras. Shocker, huh?
Tamra Barney and former cast mate, Jeana Keough ended up throwing wine on each other because Jeana supposedly said nice things about Tamra's ex, and Tamra did not like that so the two started yelling at each other and then threw wine at each other. Boring. At this point to get even more than a day of coverage I think any two Housewives who want attention are going to have to take some punches at each other or going to have to have a sex tape with one of the other husbands. All the wine throwing and yelling has already been done and watching an entire season of shows just to get to one wine throwing incident is not much of a payoff.
I find myself watching but growing weary of this dismal and repulsive franchise. Even my significant other has been drawn into the Beverly Hills one, although he notes "None of them are goodlooking" (to which I said, "Duh") and "These women seem unhinged." I especially get depressed by the now-mandatory two-part "reunion" debacles at the end of each sad meltdown of a season. Why do I watch. Why.

ReplyDeleteI'll tell you the only reason I watch them. So I know what Richard Lawson is talking about when he writes his commentary on the show. That shit is so funny that I laugh until my sides hurt and I have almost pissed my pants three times.
