Tommy himself.
Last week I asked for some volunteers to hit the Orange Carpet for the premiere of Fred:The Movie. Well, Tommy, who is 13 years old stepped up to the plate and delivered.
Yep, that is Eric from Head Of The Class.
On Saturday, Tommy shot two hours worth of video and by Sunday morning had edited it into 9 minutes of quality work. He is 13!! If I had done something like that I would see you next year before I would give up and just present the entire 2 hours of raw tape.
Harry Hamlin ditched everyone on the Orange Carpet.
Tommy with iJustine who had just seen that Tommy had Tweeted about her and walked over.
Unless you watch a lot of Nickelodeon you will not know most of the people he interviewed, but he knew them all. There are some people you will know, but even if you don't, I hope that you will take a few minutes and watch the video and think to yourself that a 13 year old did this and then show some love for him in the comments.
So awesome! Enty, you need to keep Tommy on the payroll. That's good stuff!!
ReplyDeleteThat was great, Tommy! You have a real future in the entertainment industry! Keep up the terrific work...
ReplyDeleteNice work TOmmy! And cool of iJustine to come over. Nice to know that some celebrities can remember that they're human.

ReplyDeleteawww, yay tommy! what a slammin' kid. go YOU!!!
ReplyDeletesign me up for the tommy fan club!
When I read the notice you posted about needing someone to do this my 7 year old daughter and I cried (we live in Georgia). My daughter is a fan of most of these shows therefor I am a fan by proximity (well, OK, perhaps sometimes I can be caught watching some of them without her in the room...shhhhhh) Anyhow watching this video totally made me feel 100% better about not being able to go. This kid did an amazing job.
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't intimidated, he asked interesting questions, and he even got awesome sound bites for you Enty! Get this kid a better mic and video camera and hire him STAT.
This is a perfect example of how being interested in the subject makes a better interview. He got right in there and even got the bigger interviews! Sam? Victoria? the Brain Surge guy? Big Time Rush? and Lucas himself! I'm beyond impressed. I don't see how anyone could have done a better job, myself included.
Way to go Tommy! You've got two fans in Georgia :)
Great job, Tommy! This was awesome! Hope to see you out on the orange (or purple or red) carpet again soon!
ReplyDeleteRock on, Tommy. That was great!
ReplyDeletenice job Tommy!
ReplyDeletenever underestimate the power of Twitter people!

Good job, Tommy! You knew your subject - which is far, far more than most of the so-called professionals who work for the tabloid shows and E! Even though I had no clue who most of those people are, it was a pleasure seeing a knowledgeable interviewer.
ReplyDeleteI think you found yourself a keeper. WTG kid!
ReplyDelete"Hey this is David Archuleta and you're watching Crazy Days and Nights!"
ReplyDeleteTommy, you rock! You are a natural! I don't know whether to recommend entertainment reporting or advertising to you.
Manny! *squee!*
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Tommy. I've worked for one of the biggest publications in the country, and we couldn't ever get it together enough to do anything like this for our website.
Enty, get him a good mic and let 'er rip!
That was your first time interviewing?! Great job, Tommy!
ReplyDeleteI will have to agree that Tommy did a better job of asking questions than most of the silly reporters on the red carpet, (with MAYBE the except of Seacrest).
I am really impressed by Tommy, that was an awesome job of interviewing!
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Tommy! I liked the interviews and I enjoyed the captions (I found these very helpful, as I am not in Nickelodeons target audience).
ReplyDeleteEnty---isn't this child labor?
*smile*

Tommy - I'm proud of you! You are really good at what you do. As Tenley said, equally adept at interviewing and plugging the site. Look out Seacrest! Keep up the good work and STAY IN SCHOOL!
ReplyDeleteLike everyone else here, I agree that you're a natural talent, and hope that you find a way to continue to pursue this line of work. Enty, send this talented young fellow out to more red carpet. He's earned it and deserves it.
ReplyDeleteAwesome awesome work Tommy!
