Today's Blind Items
This new cable show on a grammatically exciting network features people who are supposed to be employees. Turns out at least two of them are not, and one of those who is not, actually makes her living as a hooker.

That stupid Spin Crowd show on E!?
ReplyDeleteI accidentally watched The Spin Crowd last night and couldn't believe the train wreck. Yet, I couldn't turn it off. I needed a shower afterward.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ "grammatically exciting network". Must be E! Maybe the Kardashians have a new show?
ReplyDeleteSo right Mango. Apparently Kim is the producer.
ReplyDeleteYeah I accidentally watched 5 minutes of it so sadly I knew this answer. And Kim K. produces it I believe. So it's not shocking.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what grammatically exciting means???
ReplyDeleteIt's gotta be Spin Crowd. There are two blondes and two ingenues in the cast, which struck me as odd because that seemed redundant. The hooker has got to be Lauren (the bitchy blond) and I would believe that Summer (one of the ingenues) was "cast" in the show as opposed to having been there previously.
ReplyDeleteSorry. I watched both episodes and am not proud of that. :(
sunnyside - the exclamation mark in E! makes it grammatically exciting. Whether E! is exciting in and of itself is another debate.
ReplyDeleteLove the cleverness and conspicuousness, Enty.
Thanks Karmen. I was clueless again.
ReplyDeletelol - could it be something on Syfy? I know we all had a good laugh about that name changing. Although Syfy would more aptly be described as grammatically annoying, so E! is probably the right answer :)
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking maybe TNT, but can't think of what new show has "employees" on it.
ReplyDeleteIt's typographically exciting, not grammatically. I ask for a little thoroughness on blind items about hookers in a reality show.
ReplyDeleteI hate E!. I boycotted that shit about 1 1/2 years ago.
ReplyDeleteDon't judge me harshly but I'm going to go with The Spin Crowd too. I have to admit that I watched the first two episodes too. Isn't Lauren the chick that was driving the car back from the coffee shop and purposely going fast over the speed bumps while the other girl was trying to hold all the coffee and it all spilled on her? This show is the biggest train wreck yet on TV and that sure is saying a lot considering we have the Kardashians (and yes Kim is one of the executive producers so you know where this is going), Jersey Shore, etc.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I'm going to have to catch an episode of The Spin Crowd. As if I don't commit enough of my soul to bad television. I'm living on caffeine and crap TV, I tells ya.
ReplyDeleteWhat? Trash TV that I haven't even heard of, not to mention DVR'd and planned my life around? I'll be using the "smart search" on the DirectTV remote control tonight. I hate to miss a good trainwreck.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was 'BRAVO', but I suck at this.
ReplyDeleteita that's it's e!..and blinds like this make me glad i don't have too much time to watch as much tv as i'd like...althoooo...i did catch e!'s repeat of the style channel's 'jerseylicious'...and it was well...jerseylicious...i could see one of those big haired girls being a hooker.
ReplyDeleteTracey and Olivia from Jerseylicious??!

ReplyDeleteOh its totally that bitch who stole my name on E!
ReplyDeleteRead her bio, it screams hooker:

Scratch my earlier guess of Spin Crowd.
ReplyDeleteThe show is Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami. The show features employees of their store, Dash. One of those employees was called a hooker by Scott Disick at one point--maybe he was calling it like it is.
I thought the show was hilarious (Spin Control or whatever it's called). Jonathan is surprisingly really funny. I'm guessing the hooker isn't the one who refused to get her lips done.
ReplyDeleteIt is absolutely 100% Spin Crowd on E! and here is why - the first several episodes it becomes CLEAR the "employees" do not even know each other. The ahole Jonathon makes one stand up and tells her how she needs to dress everyday - the other is the neurotic asthmatic who flips out about every single thing, including when one girl leaned over near her (they all sit at a big rectangular table, not really desks) and the neurotic girl started panicking saying "you are invading my personal space, yes I'm serious" - don't you think that would be something the other girl knew if they had worked together more than a week?
ReplyDeleteThey are all new employees except for Lauren or whatever her name is and she said she did "modeling" and when the pictures flashed on the screen, they were like stripper type pictures.
So bottom line, the "employees" don't even know each other, it's like their first day of work on the first episode and one loves showing pictures where she is dressed like a hooker.
Solved.
anyone else automatically think of the scene in 'knocked up' when seth rogen puts his hands in the air and says 'e!'?
ReplyDeleteor not...and i just totally cemented my obsession w that movie.
Lauren showing off everythong.
