Today's Blind Items
Award show season brings out the spouses. It also brings out the possibility for some very awkward situations. Well, awkward for the two actors involved. Not so awkward for the husband because he does not know that his foreign born C+ primarily television actress on a hit show wife is sleeping around on him with her much younger C+ co-star. I'm guessing the friendly handshake they shared last night would not have been so friendly if the husband knew.
Well it ain't Sofia Vergara since she ain't married. Clueless here.
ReplyDeleteI immediately thought of Jessalyn Gilsig (she's Canadian and works with a bunch of younger guys on Glee) but her husband is a producer, not an actor.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure this is Jessalyn Gilsig, but the 2 actors involved are the C+ actress and her co-star. The husband's profession is not stated, just that he accompanied her to the Emmy's and shook the co-star's hand.
ReplyDeleteWell, IMDB says Emily did a little tv 2004/2005 and a Simpsons in 2009. It's been all movies other wise.

ReplyDeleteIMO Courteney Cox is higher than C+, and she's not foreign born. Emily Blunt isn't known for her TV roles.
Jessalyn makes sense if someone can't come up with anything better. I'm awful at guessing, just good at researching.
What about Rose Byrne from Damages?

ReplyDeleteShe is 38, and looking at her cast, here are the choices:
Kevin McHale, 22
Cory Monteith, 28
Mark Salling, 28
Harry Shum, Jr., 28
Dijon Talton, 20
and even Matthew Morrison is only 31.
She didn't have scenes with most of the cast, IIRC, Just Morrison mainly, and a few with Monteith and Salling. So she might not even shoot her scenes the same days as the rest of the cast, so we could probably limit it down further.
Carrie Preston fits everything except the part about being foreign born. Damnit!

ReplyDeleteAnna Paquin is foreign-born, married (newlywed, in fact!) and primarily television these days. I'd put her at least on the B-level, though.

ReplyDeleteJust a shot in the dark, but is Christine Baranski from "The Good Wife" married? Is she foreign born? Probably not. I just wanted to guess something different. Even though she's no spring chicken, I think she still puts off a sexy vibe. I could see some of the men from that show being into her. Plus, Chris Noth has a horrible reputation. They are both probably higher than C+ though.

Christine Baranski is married to that guy that played Billy Clyde Tuggle on "All my Children" years ago. On talk shows she seems happily married, they have grown children together so they have been married a very long time.
ReplyDeleteYep, and CB's husband is a very devout Catholic (DAILY mass.) He is part of the Drexel -- his (2nd?) cousin, Katherine Drexel, is a canonized saint. And that family tree is full of Biddles, Whartons, etc. Oh, and Drexel Univ.

ReplyDeleteI don't know why I thought this, but my guess is Anna Torv ("Fringe") and Joshua Jackson. But I hope not - I love Joshua and Diane Kruger together.
ReplyDelete...and I just looked it up and Joshua and Anna are the same age, and they are the youngest main cast members of "Fringe." Okay, very dumb guess.

@ Fish - I wouldn't be surprised either if it was Blunt but it can't be her for this blind because the BI says the actress is on a hit show. That leaves her out. For this particular BI at least.
