ReplyDeletei adored patricia neal. i remember when she had that stroke, and how hard she fought to come back. and also losing her child to measles. she was such a strong woman.

then we have melanie griffith who was so cute when she was younger. she ruined a perfectly good face. stupid bitch.

ReplyDeleteMelanie Griffith actually looks pretty good compared to a few years ago. It really is too bad that she had all that plastic surgery...but it appears her lips have deflated a bit lately, which is a good thing.

Now she's clearly had a complete face overhaul, and she's starting to give off a distinct Jocelyn Wildenstein vibe.
I wonder what happened: did she go to a less skilful surgeon this time around, or has her facial tissue simply reached its limit and is unable to cope with the procedures anymore?

ReplyDeletePatricia Neal was a medical miracle and is still regarded as having a recovery from multiple strokes that even specialists can't explain. Her husband Roald Dahl refused to let her see her children until she could walk without a limp and speak perfectly, so as not to scare the children but also to push her to her best recovery. She did it too, and was able to go back and not only act but be nominated for 3 Emmy's and another Oscar nom. She was amazing. Rest In Peace.

Patricia Neal was super nice to my Mother in law in Martha's Vineyard. My MIL went over to tell her she was a big fan, and Patricia Neal told her that she and her friends had been talking about how beautiful her snow white hair was during their whole lunch. RIP.
