Rachel Bilson & Hayden Christensen Officially End Their Engagement

Considering they were never a couple in the first place and their "break" was humorous, the fact that Rachel Bilson's publicist actually released a statement saying the engagement was over makes me think Rachel is thinking about dating guys who actually are willing to be real. The statement from her publicist was only like four words which is not very fun. I was hoping it would go something like this:

"After three years together and thousands of disbelieving laughs from the public, Rachel and Hayden have decided to call off their engagement. Since we couldn't keep our stories straight about how or why or when they got engaged and Rachel never wore her ring anyway, please feel free to make up any story you like about how thy got engaged or broke up. Mad Lib style. Rachel & Hayden remain as they always were from the beginning, friends without benefits and ask you respect their privacy until they have a new movie coming out and will pretend they like you at that time."
