NY Post Blind Items
Which network executive was fired for overusing his casting couch? The horny TV honcho was demanding oral sex in exchange for roles on his shows and had a fling with an actress known for her accessibility .
Which popular Manhattan restaurant had a problem when a rat scurried out of the kitchen across the dining room floor and over a woman's foot? The lady shrieked and ran out, while the eatery went silent as other customers sat in disbelief.
Pastis FTW
ReplyDeleteIt disgusts me that this is a regular thing if you want to be an actress in Hollywood. You sell your soul from Day 1.
ReplyDeleteI believe that Steve McPherson was let go as head of entertainment programming and production at ABC due to claims of sexual harrassment. As for an accessible actress I would note that Gretchen Mol starred in the ABC series "Life on Mars"
ReplyDeleteDaveb nailed the BI... as it were.
ReplyDeleteWhat's Chris Albrecht doing these days?
ReplyDeletenot just women.....
ReplyDeleteDaveB is correct, it's Steve McPherson from ABC for the first one.
ReplyDeleteAren't there rats everywhere in Manhatten?
ReplyDeleteAlso totally the ABC guy...

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure it's a regular thing. Most executives prefer the company of high-priced escorts: they'll accept to do anything, they won't talk about the singularities or shortcomings of the guy to their friends and they won't try to blackmail him later or get possibly pregnant.
Besides, when you work in the movie business, you see actress and work with them everyday. You don't dream of them.
Rats in a restaurant? Shocking!!!
ReplyDeleteGo to Asia and Africa. I've seen way more disgusting and I kept eating. But I'm hardcore so whatever.
I sure hope all those blinds really are about Gretchen Mol. If not, poor woman, LOL!
ReplyDelete@weezy -no kidding!
ReplyDeleteI've been reading for a while now and finally had to sign up to say that, no, there are not rats everywhere in Manhattan. I am a born and raised NYer and have seen rats maybe three times, and only in the subway.
ReplyDelete@Angela - hope you're right :) Reading gossip has obviously jaded me!
