Miranda Lambert Threatens Death To Anyone Who Does Not Buy Blake Shelton Album

I know she was probably kidding, but Miranda Lambert probably has an apology or two to throw out to the world. Just a few minutes ago on her Twitter she had this to say:

How bout this. If u don't buy @blakeshelton's new cd tomorrow, u will meet the wrong end of my 38 special.

She then followed it up a few seconds later with

And...you will be the doosh bag that got shot by a gun with a pink handle. Sooo do yourself a favor and get "All About Tonight", tomorrow!

Umm, I don't think that is appropriate at all. Who says something like this? To me threatening someone with a gun and calling them a "dooshbag" is not funny at all.

As I am writing this someone else must have complained because she just tweeted

Mood swing. Sorry . I love y'all!

I think she could do a little better than that.

  6. She finally discovered the downside of tweeting-some things when typed don't come off as hilarious/funny and actually make you sound like an ass.

  10. What do you expect from trailer trash?

  11. No respectable trailer trash would be caught owning a pistol with a pink handle.

Is Blake Shelton an A+ country star? I've never heard of him. I'm not much of a country fan though....

meh. Illiteracy aside, it seems to be nothing more than an unfunny, unoriginal joke. ("If you don't buy this magazine we'll kill this dog.")

  15. @dbaotG: Wow, what a memory jog! The National Lampoon! I remember that cover--it created a bit of a stink at the time, as well, if I recall correctly.

  17. She was a bitch to the other contestants in the first season of Nashville Star, she then went on to have an affair with Blake while he was still married. I'm not exactly putting much faith in her judgement.

Brendalove I wouldn't say he's A+, more like a B. He's had a few hits with "Austin" "The Baby" and "Playboys of the Southwest"

Miranda just had a number one with "The house that built me" but personally I'm not a fan of her voice.

  18. she's trashy...not fantasia trashy, but seriously close.

and blake, well, he kinda speaks out his ass...but his back-and-forth twitter w/ scott baio is sometimes worth a chuckle or two.

  19. Miranda's from Texas. Just sayin'!

Seriously, though, never had the chance to meet her but have heard good things about her. Have met and adore Blake Shelton, who's as sweet as can be, so I give her the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to youthful indulgence.

  20. At least she isn't promoting her own cd this way. Let's give credit where credit is due, shall we?

  21. I'm disagreeing with everyone on this. I don't like country, don't know Miranda Lambert but it was obviously a joke. Maybe not a good one but she tried. I've got no problem with what she wrote.

  22. See, this is why celebs/artists need to watch what they say on Twitter. Can get 'cha in a lot of trouble. You would think Blake might have told her to STFU....??? Kind of a dumb way to try and promote the album.
