Gwen Stefani Trashes Gavin Rossdale - Still Wants Another Baby With Him
X17 has a post up that says they talked to a source who says that in No Doubt's new album there are lots of songs that trash Gavin Rossdale and make him out to be a big jerk. It goes on to say that Gwen & Gavin are really not the great couple everyone thinks they are. See, I don't know about that. I think they are pretty happy. Oh sure she has to always look like Marilyn and there is the whole did he or did he not sleep with Courtney Love. Oh, and there was the whole guess what honey I have a teenager I didn't tell you about moment.
But, aside from all that I think it seems pretty good. In fact, Gavin is apparently aware of all the songs and just asked her not to include any more songs that bash him. The source for X17 also says that Gwen wants to have another baby with Gavin. Huh? One minute you are saying they hate each other and the next it is a baby for the couple?
I say that if the story is true, that Gwen was getting out some tension and that is how she deals with her issues.
Is there a song called, "I Look Like a Tranny so You Won't Leave Me"? Or "As Long as You Still Look Hot (I'll Pretend You Don't Like Men)"?
ReplyDeleteThis is interesting. Why would you write all these husband bashing songs if your marriage is all peachy keen? They do have a lot of baggage, it seems.
ReplyDeleteI remember a VERY old blind item from Enty back when this site was in its infancy -- it was revealed that the reason why Gwen doesn't change her look very often is because whenever she does, Gavin goes and finds a lady with a peen who has that look.
ReplyDeletei never thought they were so lovey dovey, but how would anyone know that about another's relationship. i get a feeling that they are manufactured. idk.
ReplyDeleteNot surprised. I think that "Underneath It All" song was openly about him before they got married. She's always questioned his commitment.
ReplyDeleteHe didn't know Daisy was his daughter. The mom lied to everyone for 16 years.
ReplyDeleteI have moments where I can pick apart every one of my husband's flaws and bash him (in my head, of course). This does not mean that I hate or do not love my husband. Now if the Mrs. has a song that is called Gavin is a Dick and I Wish He Would Die, then maybe there are issues indeed...
ReplyDelete@MommaSaid...well put!
ReplyDeleteIt just sounds awful, sure relationships aren't meant to be perfect but why bashing him in her songs for the world to see?
ReplyDeleteI think they are happy with what they represent... the apparently best life: the kids, the house, the fame, the money and that works for them, even though Gwen has to look like a blond tranny.
I tend to believe their marriage is real and until I have more concrete evidence that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :)
ReplyDeletePlus the income from those songs must make all that unpleasantness soooooo much easier to bear.
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't be the first time she - or any songwriter - sang about their personal relationships.
ReplyDeleteEver since that blind with the wife who always has to look the same way or the husband will find a tranny who does, I have a hard time with these two...*L*
didn't Gavin write a few ditties about her on a Bush album?
ReplyDeletewho cares. X17 is a joke.
Kate and RocketQueen - what they said.
ReplyDeleteI want Gwen to have a little girl, just so she can be dressed up as MiniGwen. Baby L.A.M.B.!!!
I know I have read a few tidbits that hint at Gwen really liking girls, which would make her a great match for Gavin since he likes she/males.
ReplyDeleteGwen bashed her first boyfriend who is still in No Doubt with her, so that is nothing new for Gwen. She just rolls that way. I thought "Underneath It All" was about Gavin too.
I thought she said they were over with the baby making. Gavin was never thrilled with being a father the first time.
I don't know. I never felt the love between these two.
Well, anyone that's been married for several years and has kids is going to have ups and downs. I hope they make it, and have a baby girl.
ReplyDeleteIf all she wrote about was lovelovelove, I'd be suspect. Let her sing what she wants. What MommaBear says.
